She also took to her Twitter recently to deny they’re dating.

“I am NOT dating Terrence J from the show,” she tweeted this weekend. “I think he’s eye candy for the YOUNGER girls. However I’m a little older, parts of me are young.”

ON PLASTIC SURGERY RUMORS

I had a nose job. But not for the reason everybody thinks. I was born with no cartilage in my nose, and it made breathing very difficult. And the SNORING? Oh My God! So I’ve had a couple surgeries – the first time they put an implant in and I had to have it removed – so eventually they took some cartilage from my ear and put it in my nose. Oh and that HURT! They want me to have a third procedure but I’m trying not to have it. But this is something that runs in our family. My father had the same thing done, and so did Toni.

JEALOUS MUCH?

I’ve never felt pressure. Even when we were kids people would say I was jealous of her or just trying to be like her but I wasn’t. I knew I wanted to sing the first time I saw Star Search. It just happens that we both wanted the same career path for our lives.

Its been really, really amazing. It’s actually been really great for my family. Through this whole process, my sisters and I have grown a lot closer. We didn’t realize there’s a lot of things we’ve had built up inside of us, that through this process, we’ve been able to get out . . . Well it’s been 11 years since my parents divorce and there’s things that we’ve needed to say to one another: things we blamed each other for, that we felt guilty about, it sounds weird but the show kind of forced us to deal with a lot of things. Even my mom had some issues with dad that she had to let go of. So it’s been great.

It took three episodes for me to look beyond the bargain bin wigs, distorted faces, and squawking arguments on weTv’s new ratings hit Braxton Family Value and finally feel apart of the family. In her interview with Sister 2 Sister show star Toni Braxton details her decision on making the foray into reality television, balancing having an autistic son and demanding career being managed by her own brother-in-law and more.

HOW SONS DENIM AND DIEZEL MOTIVATE HER

Some mornings I don’t want to get up . . . Sometimes I just want to lay in bed, or sometimes I think morbid and dark, I have to be honest, because I am so down on myself. But then I think of my kids and I go, “I gotta get up. I gotta do what I gotta do for Denim and Diezel. I’m their mom, it’s my job to make sure they’re okay.”

ON HAVING HER CAREER MANAGED BY HER SISTER’S HUSBAND

He’s great because he gets us. He knows how we are as a family. He knows how I am individually, and he works his butt off for me. It could be challenging for him, I am sure, sometimes, because he is also married to my sister. So he has to be a husband, too. How do you differentiate? “My wise has needs and my artist, Toni, has needs.” But anyway, it stays balanced. He has the toughest job, to me.

SAYING YES TO ‘THE BRAXTONS’

It took a little bit of convincing, even once we started shooting, because I was ready for them to get out; my kids are coming home. And so we had to get more scenes: “Can we get some scenes with you and your kids?” At first, I said, “Noe, you can’t get my kids. No, absolutely not.” And then I talked to the kids and I said, “Okay, well, I do want people to see a side of me that’s a mom.” So it was a revealing show for me. And sometimes it was challenging for my sisters to understand that. I would say, “Guys, people should feel like they’re seeing through the keyhold, not in your living room. Then you lose your mystique.” And they would say, “Yeah, but that’s old school, Toni; nobody does that. People want to hang out with their stars or their entertainers; their favorites. They want to get to know them; they want to feel like they’re in the living room now. You’re dated; you have to get current.” At first I was offended. Then I started watching shows and paying attention and going “Whoa, I guess they’re right.”

Although I’m putting my money on it that she does it anyway, if Toni Braxton were everyday people she would probably be the type to give a weekly update on all the career strides she is making during church announcements and then turn around and hit everybody up on the low for gas money in the parking lot following service. Call it Facebook Fronting Syndrome.

But I digress.

Since there weren’t any scheduled grand openings for bags of Funyuns in the tri-state area for today she opted to turn out for the 2011 Lindt Gold Bunny Celebrity Auction Kick-Off at the Lindt Chocolate Shop in New York City and pose dramatically like an Ebony Fashion Fair Runway model.
