The ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star turned small screen cameo queen hit the Hollywood streets this week for both business and pleasure. On Wednesday (September 5), she joined the rest of her “The New Normal” cast at a Fall preview event before skating off to enjoy a drink and a two step with G.O.O.D. Music.

Last night, the burgeoning typecast-me-as-a-neck-rolling-sista actress (stay in your lane, NeNe) put that booty on double duty, joining ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ personalities Mimi Faust and Ariane Davis inside the Beverly Hills hotel for the House of Hype Power Players event and also tipping the red carpet at an InTouch Weekly party.

Let the inflated sense of self-importance begin.

Celebrity hairstylist Derek J provided a visual tutorial on the proper way to wear thigh high boots all the while serving spectators a two piece and a biscuit with extra jelly on the side.

Former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ chief operator of zest Dwight Eubanks dressed in his finest linens for the occasion. Also spotted around the venue: Lisa Who-Hartwell, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, and Rasheeda. Better yet, think of it this way — nobody.

The poster child for New Money Negroes everywhere, NeNe Leakes, looked great while posing for pictures on the red carpet at the 2012 NBC Universal TCA summer press tour yesterday.

Nay Nay’s (say it like a horse) television crossover has been pretty seamless these past years. ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ put her on the map, ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Trump checks paid for her zoom teeth whitening and her reoccurring role on ‘Glee’ injected her loud-and-wrong self in the vein of Hollywood. The rush from cooning for coins is only comparable to that of heroin, or so I’ve heard.

‘Glee’ showrunner Ryan Murphy liked her so much that he cast Leakes in his new show, ‘The New Normal,‘ premiering September 11 on NBC.
