From food stamps to marked down designer dresses, the slow but steady rise of reality television veteran Tami Roman has been entertaining to witness to say the least.
While her ‘Basketball Wivs’ cast mates have relied on having unprotected sex with professional athletes and acting as a plus-one for Nene Leakes at industry events, the mother of two decided to snatch her figure for the gawds. Here she is working the blue carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Extant’ earlier this month.
Check out a pair of not-so-bad-at-all before shots from of Tami from May 2013 after the jump.
Send your baby daddy straight to voicemail and turn the porch light off, ‘Tiny Tonight’ is back for another season.
Queen Tameka and her faithful servants — Shekinah Jo, Claudia Jordan, Trina and newbie panelist Tami Roman — are back for another round of girl talk loaded with plenty of
heated hoodrat debates celebrity gossip, reality television chatter, insider perspective on the latest innovations in hoe shit and more.

Tami Roman dialed up Philly’s 107.9 Morning Show to set the record straight on her controversial advice to friend Evelyn Lozada towards the end of the ‘Basketball Wives’ Season 5 premiere episode on Monday night.
“Evelyn has openly admitted since we taped a year ago, that had the world not been involved, had nobody known what had happened she would have gone right back to Chad. So with her saying that, my advice then became, if that’s the relationship you want to keep and you feel like it’s worth saving — go to counseling.”
While out to dinner with the rest of the girls, Tami made the suggestion to Evelyn that if she believed her marriage to Chad Johnson was worth saving that she should “step out on faith” and give him a second chance.
Tami Roman is no spring chicken in the world of reality television. Here is what the
old bird 42-year-old had to share with Too Fab about ‘Basketball Wives,’ reality television and her previous mean girl episode with Kesha Nichols.
On what fans can expect from the upcoming ‘Basketball Wives’ season: “I’m excited about it because the show has the tendency to border on the dramatic aspect of our lives. This particular season we’re getting more into our families, the positive things we’re doing, creating a balance for the show. Last season was particularly hard for me because of the things we went through. It is reality TV and one moment that happens for 15 minutes is stretched out for 4 weeks of our lives.”
