Vibe– Gay men should never hide their sexuality; at least what Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Raymond expressed in her tweets. She recently took to Twitter, sending a message to gay men who are perceived as straight to have a clear indication of their sexual preference. Rather than Timberlands, caps, or vests, she advises they should wear “bright wristbands.”

Of course, the advice received plenty of criticisms, but Raymond attempted to clarify her statement in another tweet. She wasn’t addressing all gay men, but talking about those who participate in “trickery.” But she stood behind her decision, writing, “something I say STAND UP 4 it, but defensiveness is often associated with guilt. Again, my opinion..but Guilt why? Guilt usually=wrongdoing.”

The problem with sharing an inside joke on a public forum, especially Twitter, is that more times than others your “kee kee” amongst friends will be perceived as a dig by others not in the loop, and within the blink of an eye your replies can look like the fight scene from The Outsiders.

“I was out at a restaurant with girlfriends and some guys were flirting with us. One asked my girl for her number, Tameka explained in a response to The Grio. “Then more men came in and we discovered that they were in fact gay.”
“I made a joke and said they should have on wristbands, because we would have never guessed they were actually gay. I wasn’t speaking about gays in general. It was to guys that mislead women.”

Just when I warm up to the idea of possibly liking Tameka one day (but none too soon) she logs on Twitter and engages in the type of ratchet behavior that I would expect out of a patron dining at East Oakland’s five-star Denny’s. Being cute in front of company is one thing, trying to let your nuts hang for the entire world to see is another. Allow the homie ATLien explain.

Last night, Kandi and her mom appeared on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta after show with Andy Cohen. Kandi made an on-air confession about her celebrity crush which caused someone to have a hissy fit online!

Now we all know Usher’s ex, Tameka Foster Glover Raymond, is a bit unstable but some things never cease to amaze me.

Anyway, here’s the deal … Kandi admitted on air that she had a crush on Usher Raymond and that she’d heard he was good in bed. Kandi’s “confession” apparently got Usher’s ex feeling some kinda way.

Tameka Foster Glover Raymond caught word of Kandi’s “crush” and promptly picked up her Blackberry to let the twitter world know she’s not over her ex by throwing shade at Kandi, implying that Ms. Burruss had already dated everyone in town.

You go out to the beauty store to buy some yaki and miss a whole episode of the ebony version of  Passions.

TMZ has learned Usher Raymond recently called the cops on his soon-to-be ex-wife — accusing her of sneaking onto his property and scratching up one of his cars.

Law enforcement sources tell us when officers arrived at the scene, Tameka Raymond was nowhere to be found.

Police later interviewed both Tameka and Usher — but determined there was no evidence or witnesses to substantiate Usher’s claim.

But the drama didn’t end there — law enforcement sources tell us Usher called the cops on Tameka a second time several days later, complaining that Tameka again got onto his property and wouldn’t leave. By the time cops arrived, Tameka had already split.

Usher filed for divorce back in June … but it hasn’t been finalized just yet.

TMZ just received the following statement from Tameka’s rep:

“This is just another attempt to disparage Tameka. It’s simply an angry ploy that has no merit.

Tameka’s own truck was scratched but it’s not clear how. The truck is registered in her name, it’s not even Usher’s car. Why would she vandalize her own vehicle?”

Tameka Foster-Raymond Released From Brazilian Hospital

tameka2 Tameka Foster Raymond Released From Brazilian HospitalTameka Foster-Raymond, Usher’s wife, was released from a hospital in Brazil after spending 11 days recovering from a cardiac arrest she suffered shortly before she was about to undergo plastic surgery, according to The Associated Press.

A spokeswoman for the Sirio-Libanes Hospital in Sao Paulo told AP Wednesday (February 18) that Foster-Raymond left the facility Monday night, but declined to provide any details on Raymond’s treatment at the family’s request. The spokewoman spoke on condition of anonymity per hospital policy.

At press time, representatives for Usher had not commented.

Ellen Dastry, a spokeswoman for the doctor who was to perform the plastic surgery, told People magazine last week that Foster-Raymond suffered a cardiac arrest while being anesthetized ahead of a “simple liposuction” at Sao Paulo’s Sao Rafael Hospital.

“Tameka Raymond came here on Friday to do a liposuction. Shortly after she went under [general] anesthesia, she suffered a cardiac arrest,” said Ellen Dastry, a representative for plastic surgeon Silvio Sterman, who was to have performed the surgery. Foster-Raymond was revived after less than a minute using heart massage.

Simply dreadful.

A Brazilian doctor says Usher’s wife was hospitalized last week in Sao Paulo after suffering a cardiac arrest shortly before undergoing plastic surgery.

Ellen Dastry, spokeswoman for plastic surgeon Silvio Sterman, says Tameka Raymond checked into the Sao Rafael Hospital last Friday for a “simple liposuction.” Raymond suffered a cardiac arrest while being anesthetized for the procedure “but was revived in less than a minute by heart massage,” Dastry said Thursday.

Raymond was then placed in an induced coma before being taken to the intensive care unit, a procedure Dastry said was done “in order to avoid unnecessary complications.”

Raymond is currently recovering in Sao Paulo’s better-equipped Sirio-Libanes Hospital, Dastry said without providing further details.

How dope would it be if Tameka did a freestyle from her hospital bed Mistah Fab style? All jokes aside, I’m glad that she pulled through.
