Rita Ora was seeing red in Frankfurt, Germany at this year’s MTV European Music Awards. For her arrival, the “R.I.P.” singer wore a full, floor length ball gown with a sheer embroidered bodice from Marchesa.
The 21-year-old kicked off the show wearing a custom Emilio Pucci look inspired by Peter Dundas’ Asian-influenced Spring 2013 collection (removing the jacket mid-performance to reveal a backless jumpsuit). She completed the look with a pair of high-top sneakers.
100 calorie pack Gwen Stefani — singer Rita Ora — made a dramatic fashion statement in DSquared2 gold strappy heels and a figure hugging white peplum dress with exaggerated shoulders by Thierry Mugler for her red carpet arrival at the 2012 MOBO Awards on Saturday (November 3) at Echo Arena in Liverpool, England.
The 21-year-old snatched up the award for Best Newcomer at the show. The following day, Rita performed her new single “Shine Ya Light” on the ‘X Factor UK.’ Watch the music video for the track after the jump!
Back To Business In London
On Wednesday night (October 10), everybody’s favorite group of “almost but not quite there” singers came out to celebrate the 8th Annual Paper Magazine Nightlife Awards which was presented by Hennessy V.S. at Webster Hall in New York City.
Angelica Pickles Rita Ora, Diddy’s current concubine Cassie and Acting president of the Greasy But Nonetheless Beautiful Faces of America club (you know, when Stacey Dash can’t make the meetings) Melanie Fiona were all found in the V.I.P. section sipping complimentary drinks and slipping their albums in women’s unattended purses.
The party was rounded out by HOT 97′s Miss Info, rapper Wale, model Jessica White, and blazing Brit Estelle.
Left without access to her cobalt blue crayon, (LaTavia is good for one thing and one thing only: misplacing shit) Beyonce relied on her anonymous-yet-undoubtedly-fabulous gay Latino intern to type up a brief note in support of Rita Ora for her official website.
That’s so sweet.
If the task were solely left up to Kid Creole the note would have probably read something along the basic lines of “I’m your girl, you my girl, we — the world and all of those living in it with vaginas, honorary vaginas, and voices — your girls. Don’t you know that we love you?”
Thank you for holding your girl down, Raul. Read King Bey’s girl powah message below.
