President Barack Obama won four more years in office on Tuesday (November 6), describing his victory over Republican nominee Mitt Romney as a call to action that would help move the U.S. past the difficult times endured during the past four years and promising “the best is yet to come.”

Shortly before 1 am ET on this morning, Romney conceded defeat, taking to the stage at his campaign headquarters in Boston. “I pray the President will be successful in guiding our nation,” the former Massachusetts Governor said.

In his interview with the magazine, El Presidente shares his plans for improving the economy, our health, homes and future — and why he’s excited about the next four years: “I’ve always approached my presidency as a long-term proposition . . . I didn’t run for office just to clean up the mess I inherited. I didn’t run for office just to return to the status quo. Understanding that some of the things I get done, we may not see the benefits from them for ten years. But that’s how change happens.”

Yesterday, wife FLOTUS Michelle Obama appeared with Walt Disney Co. CEO Bob Iger at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. to announce changes to Disney’s nutrition guideline policy.
