Nicki Minaj, pictured above last week at the Elvis Duran Z100 Morning Show, took to her Twitter account on Monday night (November 26) to respond to recent remarks made by former ‘American Idol’ judge Steven Tyler about the new judges’ ability to nurture new talent.

“These kids, they just got out of a car from the Midwest somewhere and they’re in New York City, they’re scared to death. You’re not going to get the best [out of them]. If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield,” he told MTV.  “Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips. Just saying.”

Oxtails Onika was less diplomatic in her reaction, launching into a torrent of tweets that ended with her calling Tyler a racist.

Nicki Minaj tamed down her usual fashion shenanigans by wearing a strapless highlighter lemon-lime gown by Monique Lhuillier to the American Music Awards on Sunday. The rapper paired the frock with a multicolored Charles Albert statement necklace and Kenya Michaels-esque beaten mug.

The ‘American Idol’ judge isn’t the first on the block to give the silk faille dress a twirl. ‘Modern Family’ star Julie Bowen rocked the gown at this year’s Emmy Awards just two months ago. But the first stunner to step out in the dress — in yellow — was actress Paula Patton, for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards back in January.

Mariah Carey tipped the orange carpet in a Balenciaga dress and Gucci heels on Saturday in support of husband Nick Cannon at the Nickelodeon TeenNick HALO Awards in Hollywood. Cannon created the event in 2009 to honor teenagers who are making a difference in their communities by helping and leading others.

“I’m super proud of my hubby, Mr. Nick Cannon. I think this is amazing, that he conceptualized the whole thing,” gushed Mimikins. “Really, he’s so involved in this. It’s all about giving back. That’s what the awards are all about.”

The diva-sized (and contrived for ratings if you want my opinion) feud between Mariah and fellow ‘American Idol’ judge Nicki Minaj seems to be cooling off.

Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins isn’t tucking her chain in for Nicki Minaj nor her fans.

In a recent interview with UK website This Is Max she didn’t hold back her opinion, saying since Onika possesses zero singing talent she shouldn’t be judging other people on theirs.

“Just because you’re on TV gyrating and boning and sucking penises, it’s not talent, honey. Maybe in the porn industry, but over here, we entertain,” T-Boz said. “I don’t respect half [of] the people I’ve seen lately. How the hell is she gon’ tell me what I should be doing when her ass can’t even sing.”

“Why is she there? And then, now they’ve got rappers that don’t even sing judging? So, this is totally based off of popularity I guess,” she continued. “I mean, to each their own. Get your money, honey. All I’m saying is, I will never watch [your] shows again.”

As expected, her comments didn’t fly over too well with Barbz. Well, tough titty.
