redtails Watch This: Eb The Celeb Interviews The Cast of Red Tails

‘Red Tails’ (opening at theaters nationwide on Friday) is based on the true story of the first all-African-American fighter pilot squadron in American military history. The Tuskegee Airmen were a major part of combat, but also an issue at the Pentagon, which debated the risk of using black pilots in battle.

C+D’s friend in the head Eb The Celeb wasn’t sure what to expect walking into an interview with the cast of such a serious film but all of her worries were immediately removed upon experiencing the laid back brotherhood firsthand. Watch her interview below!

neyo mon Ne Yo Is Engaged To Fish, Expecting His Second Child

Wield that microphone, bitch! It’s a grim day in the world of negro entertainment. Go-Go has officially put a padlock on all that good pussy of his to become a family man. He and Monyetta Shaw are not only expecting their second child together but have made plans to jump the broom, Us magazine reports.

“[Fatherhood] has been a ride, but I’m loving every minute of it,” the hit maker, who’s already dad to daughter Madilyn Grace, told People magazine on the red carpet at his annual Compound Foundation benefit.

Earlier this year the couple opened Buckhead boutique Emerlyn & Ester, named after their grandmothers. Congratulations to the happy couple!

It may be hard for some to believe but Ne-Yo’s mom wasn’t always the refined specimen that stands before us today. Miss Lorraine was the picture perfect example of a mama on the come-up during her daughter’s album release party in 2006, representing mothers across the globe who stay ready to throw hands when the occasion calls.

Check out pictures of Lorraine play proud parent at last night’s The Compound Foundation 2011 Annual Benefit below.

In no way, shape, or form is Drake playing with you petty queens this quarter!

Sporting his new signature “coy fish” that finally swam upstream scruffy look, the Young Money diaper genie with a heart of gold was photographed sitting ringside in Toronto for UFC 129 on Saturday night before jetting to Miami to take in game one of the Boston Celtics v Miami Heat series the following day. Afterward he partied with the likes of Ne-Yo and Sean Kingston (not pictured, because, well why bother?)  at Imagine Sundays at LIV at Fontainebleau.

Following a long day of shooting [ . . . their talk show, don't judge them by their tattoos and yaki selections] The Mamas of Hip-Hop hit Atlanta’s social scene in support of politician Kasim Reed’s campaign as the city’s choice for next mayor. Other notable attendees include my favorite Tweetie and celebrity site lurker Big Boi, Ne-Yo, Tameka Foster Raymond, Monica, and host of the event Fonzworth Bentley.

As always, thanks Freddy O for the flicks!
