Monica hit up 106 & Porch on Tuesday to drop off her new video “Everything To Me.” The Benny Boom directed clip features also features cameo from Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Chad Ochocinco. [CLICK HERE TO WATCH]

During her visit, she explained why she dedicated the video to late fashion designer Alexander McQueen, saying “My new video ‘Everything To Me’, features several exclusive pieces from [Alexander McQueen's Collection], a beautiful reflection of his artistic spirit and love for fashion. I sincerely and lovingly dedicate my video to Alexander McQueen and his unforgettable legacy.”

Following a long day of shooting [ . . . their talk show, don't judge them by their tattoos and yaki selections] The Mamas of Hip-Hop hit Atlanta’s social scene in support of politician Kasim Reed’s campaign as the city’s choice for next mayor. Other notable attendees include my favorite Tweetie and celebrity site lurker Big Boi, Ne-Yo, Tameka Foster Raymond, Monica, and host of the event Fonzworth Bentley.

Quick Flicks: Behind The Scenes At Monica’s Reality Show Commercial Shoot

Monica fans will be thrilled to know that her upcoming reality show is slated to premiere after the 2009 EBT Hip Hop Awards later this month. The series will follow the singer as she pulls double duty in the studio and at home with her two sons. Mo comes from a pretty solid background so I doubt that the show will pick up where Frankie & Neffe left off.

MOMO Quick Flicks: Monica + MoNique Promote Their New BET Shows

Mo’nique [aka Hairy Legs] and Monica were both seen at the BET 2009 Summer TCA Press Tour promoting their upcoming shows that is set to premiere in the fall.

Monica’s show, entitled Monica [say it like you mean it kids!] is expected to hit airwaves on October 27th. The show is going to follow Monica as she, works on her fifth album, launches a new clothing line and tackles the hardest job of all – full-time mother of two young sons. My mom did it, and you don’t see her bragging about it. Such arrogance!

Mo’nique’s show, entitled The Mo’nique Show, is going to be in a talk-show format, featuring A-List [come on BET, A-List?] celebrities and musical performances. It is touted to be a centerpiece of BET late-night programming starting on October 5th.

I see BET is trying to become a jack-of-all-trades, but it seems like they are doing too much at one time. Frankie and Neffe, Wendell Williams, Hairy Legs, Monica, Wilbur and Toya, and all that crap we negroes love to gobble up. I hope that the channel feed doesn’t self-destruct from all that fuckery.

Nippy was all smiles as she dashed through an airport this weekend with Nympho Babbii [those were the days] in tow. It was only just a few summers ago when she was shopping in the plus size department. Memories!

With all that has been going on its easy to forget that a song from what is being called Whitney’s comeback album last week. “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” was penned for our lady Nip by hit-maker Diane Warren, who has written for artists such as Toni Braxton, Aaliyah, Monica, Celine Dion, LeAnn Rimes, amongst others.
