First Lady Diamond had plenty to say about recent pictures of former friend Aunt Viv canoodling with her new boy toy ATL club promoter Slimm [double m's, please] during her chit chat with Sandra Rose:

Not missing a beat, Aunt Viv’s publicist shot back with the following statement:

There was an assassination attempt on First Lady Diamond in Atlanta on Saturday night but Da Brat saved her life by serving as a human shield.

In my head at least.

Celebrities scrambled for the exits early Saturday morning when gunshots rang out at an Atlanta party hosted by Jermaine Dupri and Sean “Diddy” Combs. A security guard suffered minor injuries when his arm was grazed by a bullet but no one else was hurt.

“I’m sad this incident happened because it interrupted a beautiful and loving party. But I’m happy none of my people or friends got hurt. And the party continues,” Dupri told People.

Held at Club Dreams, the bash kicked off Dupri’s third annual So So Def Summerfest Weekend, and was attended by Usher, Nelly, Gabrielle Union, Regina King, Larenz Tate and approximately 3,000 others.

The festivities turned ugly around 3:30 a.m. when guests reportedly balked at being charged an additional fee by security to enter the VIP section, said DeKalb County police spokesman Marcus Hodge. That’s when a male patron pulled out a gun and started firing away. Police emptied the venue but no arrests have been made. [source]

Did you hear the wonderful gossip? Rumor has it that LisaRaye is going to finally quit acting after marrying the Cake Daddy of her dreams. She is also set to come out with a line of ponytail hair extension pieces. Yes! Finally, a gift I can share with my family as a stocking stuffer during the holidays. I hope she sells them on the Home Shopping Network so she can go head to head with that Toni Pony woman. That bitch irks my nerves. Anyway, Supa Cindy is reporting that the women of Turks & Caicos aren’t feeling LisaRaye too much.

I had the pleasure and honor of being asked to host the celebration concert for Premier minister Missick of the Turk and Caicos known in the U.S. for taking Lisa Raye out of the poverty line by marrying her! hee hee. The island of Turks has alot of money and the rich of the island are really really rich!! As I was sitting through the ceremony of promoting Dr Missick from Chief Minister to Premier Minister I noticed something, that the people of Turks ESPECIALLY the women DO NOT LIKE their First Lady Lisa Raye. When it was time to applause for her the applause was weak!

Whenit was time to applause for her the applause was weak! Another thing I noticed was the horror of Lisa Raye’s daughter’s HAIR!! WTF??? Her daughter had the nerve to have the front of her head gelled to the MAX with a frizzy poofball ponytail on the upper right side of her head????? There was press from across the globe, this event will go in the history books and her hair was a straight MESS!!

Well at least her daughter was around for once. I heard that LisaRaye shipped her off to a boarding school.

What’s Really Good?

Def Jam and other rap labels are reportedly refusing to authorize the use of their artists’ music on MTV Networks’ LOGO, a channel that targets the gay community.

Noah’s Arc, a comedy-drama starring an all black cast is among the new series set to debut on the network. Though the series, directed by Patrick-Ian Polk, features plenty of popular music, sources say labels have refused to allow their music to be used because they don’t want to be associated with gay programming.

Apparently, Polk tried to clear Kanye West’s music and “got flat out rejected by the label,” the director said in a statement. “I’m a fair person, I get that and a lot of times these requests and things don’t make it to the artists. But he needs to check his people because that’s not cool. The black gay community, and even the white gay community, are big Hip-Hop fans, so they’re missing out on a big market by being short-sighted.”

The news comes several months after West commented on homophobia in the music industry during an interview on MTV’s “All Eyes On Kanye West” earlier this summer.

America’s #1 Trap Star’s Child Support Drama

Young Jeezy is facing courtroom drama as he is petitioned back to court for child support. Jeezy, born Jay Jenkins, is currently under a review as the mother of his child, Nicole Dykes, is stating that since the original child support motion in 2001 his income has changed drastically. The original motion, which established the paternity of the child, set the child support for Jenkins to pay at $178 a month. Since that motion, Jeezy has become a household name in Hip-Hop thanks, in part, to his multi-platinum Def Jam debut, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Dykes is asking for more than $20,000 in expenses, including clothing, transportation and housing to care for the child. At their last court appearance, held on October 6th, the judge declared that an adjustment would be made and that both sides will be responsible for their own court and lawyer fees. Dykes and her lawyer are appealing that decision, stating that negotiations were urged to Jezzy to avoid a court procedure but that was not accepted. Both parties are scheduled to return to court on October 26th. (source)
