Hello Fresh,

My name is Jomo K. Johnson. I am Pastor of Philly Open Air Church and also a Westminster Seminary Student.

I want to let you know about a potential story. First and foremost, I have completed a new book called Deadest Rapper Alive: The Rise of Lil Wayne and the Fall of Urban Youth. The book speaks about the cultural impact of Rapper Lil’ Wayne. I was motivated to write this book after seeing his strong and negative impact upon many young urban males in North Philadelphia. My heart was grieved by the utter darkness Lil’ Wayne was proclaiming and the influence it was having on young males with no father figures. Thus . . . I wrote this work.

I, along with a group called, “Last Testament” recorded a Music Soundtrack for the book. I believe that it was important to not only write a work on Wayne but also communicate to many of the people we are trying to reach in their familiar language. This language is Rap Music. Therefore the Soundtrack seeks to confront the culture and point people to Christ through the medium of Rap.

So it’s just on him to say, “Okay, stop. We’re gonna pick these songs, and that’s the album.’ That’s how we do it.”

Fans might ask what fills the contents of such songs? Weezy explains: “What is good about me is that I’m an interesting muthafucka. I’m Dwayne Michael Carter period! Whether I’m a rapper or not, I’m interesting. And that’s what my album’s gonna be about: me and how interesting I am.”

The Young Money leader also revealed to XXL that he plans to retire soon and hints at C4 possibly being his last offering. “I’m bowing out still on top,” he says. “I’ma make y’all want me when I retire. I spy Christina Milian. Her attendance comes as no surprise for gossip folks whispering that Young Money associate Jas Prince (son of Rap-A-Lot Records CEO J. Prince and business man in his own right) has been trying to draft her to his team since her divorce from The-Dream became finalized. Better not let King Sweet N’ Petite find out about that shit. That whole situation can turn extra messy quick. Lil’ Wayne has a child with his first ex-wife singer Nivea, so I am sure dude wouldn’t be too thrilled.
