I hate to break it to you but this isn’t the red carpet from the Dr. 90210 premiere party. Lil’ Kim and Coco are two brave souls. Heat softens plastic! I’m sure the people in attendance at the LuxuryFashion.com party had a bet going on about who would melt first.
Minus the Golden Brooks proper male-up application and chocolate chip beauty mark Kimberly looks fairly decent [if you look at her and then turn your head really quick] this time around. I can’t say the same about Coco’s concave chesticles though.
Don’t expect for Voletta Wallace and Lil’ Kim to share tea and crumpets together at high noon any time soon. In a recent interview with Hip-Hop Weekly the proud mom reloads her clip and fires back at Kimberly.
“She felt the character we chose for her was ‘too dark,’ ” Wallace told the publication, regarding Kim’s issues with the film. “Do you know why the character was too dark for her? Because she’s a white woman trapped in a black woman’s body, and you can tell the world I said it, because those are Lil’ Kim’s words. She should be ashamed of herself.”
Now before you go in on me for posting a picture of pre-op Lil’ Kim let’s focus on the issue at hand. Don’t expect to see her standing in line at the box office next Friday.
Kimbo recently publicized that she has no plans of supporting the film ‘Notorious’ and blames Big’s mother, Voletta Wallace, and his widow, singer Faith Evans, for what she calls a negative portrayal.
“I’ve had enough and I’m about to expose them both. … I’ve been quiet for a long time,” Kim was quoted as saying by Hip-Hop Weekly. “I’m very disappointed in Faith. There’s nothing Faith or Ms. Wallace could do to stop me from reppin’ B.I.G. all day. I’m gonna always do that. … It’s time for Ms. Wallace to be exposed.
“I was not involved in the movie,” she continued. “[The filmmakers] never came and asked me anything about Biggie, but again, this was Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie,” Kim told the tabloid about her thoughts on the biopic. “I couldn’t believe it. I was outraged,” adding that she thought Naturi Naughton was a bad choice to play her and that Jamal Woolard was a poor choice to portray Big.
Somebody gassed Lil’ Kim up Randy Watson style and told her that she could sing without an autotune. Mistake number one. She performed Rihanna’s hit “Disturbia” during a show in Europe. Mistake number two. I’m surprise that there were no shoes being hurled at her head but then again this is Europe we are talking about. Kizzy any one?
Frankie sounded a hell of a lot better on the premiere episode of ‘The Way It Is’ when she sung the hook from “Take A Bow” after arguing with Yvonne on the phone. Thanks Jhani!
Well, we know who isn’t reading Afrobella for hair tips. Although this isn’t the worst we have seen Kimberly its far from her best either. I’m just glad that her nipples are covered. With all the partying she does she should try to call that white boy from Girls Gone Wild and strike up a deal to host events for the company.
At least she will get a free pink trucker hat out the deal.
