Neffe, to the bat cave!
While hosting a New Year’s Eve party at a hole in the wall dent in the sheet rock nightclub in Pennsylvania swamped with sweaty neck patrons, Lil’ Kim grabbed the mic to let attendees in on the news that she and Mary J. Blige have plans to diss not only Nicki Minaj but also one-time collaborator Keyshia Cole on an upcoming track.
I think this other bitch got a song with Keyshia Cole, right? Coming at me and the mothafuckin’ other queen, Mary J. Blige. Me and my girl Mary J. Blige about to eat these bitches alive where they won’t even fucking exist no more and erase their fucking social security number! We gon’ remind them who the fuck we are! I’m not playing with this bitch for 2011. I’m saying, we can rock together but bitch you ain’t taking nothing from me!
God I hope Frankie isn’t up-to-date on her rabies immunizations.
I wasn’t able to attend as many Black Gay Pride / Luda Day Weekend events as I initially planned on during my short two-day stay in A-Town but thankfully plenty of my photographer friends like Kodak Boi were able to canvas the bustling city streets to capture all the madness.
Despite the alleged mix up, Lil’ Kim managed to show up to Atlanta’s Black Gay Pride and wow her core fanbase. The petite rapper, personally invited KidduNot.com to come out and document her night. The Queen Bee partied with the guys, first at Vita, put on by WassupInATL, then later the pint-size rapper hit up The Velvet Room where she spent the rest of her night with her lesbian fan base. She brought along friends including Christina Milian, B. Scott, Nadia
(transexual reality star), Lil B (For the Love of Ray J), Dariel, (Frankie And Neffe Show) and Mickey (the Real L word). Check out flicks!
And we’re the ones who should drink responsibly?
In the past few weeks Lil’ Kim has shared her thoughts on what she perceive as Nicki Minaj’s lack of humility with anyone down to listen but never explained her core beef.
Karu F. Daniels of BlackVoices reached out to the Queen Bee to get down to what is really making her sweat her baby hairs out about Young Money’s HBIC.
“See that’s another problem that I have, I’m going to briefly explain this, but here’s another thing that the world doesn’t know … I have a really great relationship with the people who run her camp [Cash Money Records], Slim and Baby. My relationship is with Slim, I’ve been cool with him for four or five years now. This whole thing came about when she was first trying to come up and everything. I honestly didn’t like it. It was so obvious that she wanted to be like me. It was so obvious that she wanted to pattern herself after me. She likes me, but she just doesn’t know how to show me love. So I looked at it like, they know how to do it, cause Slim always got the industry, me and him got the same thing. I got a lot of love for Slim. So his thing was, we should all do something together and that’s how I saw it. I was like, ‘Hey it would be great for hip-hop to see me and a female rocking together.’
“I wasn’t blown away by her when she first came out and even now I’m not blown away. But I thought that she had a rhyme style that would’ve flowed with mine that I liked. And I said I could kind of see myself rapping with her. So I was like ok, let me make some friends here. I threw up the white flag. So I’m over here and Baby asked Slim to ask me to do a record for his album. I did the record. They put Nicki Minaj on the record, No problem. I said let’s do it. Baby was like, ‘Yo, this record is crazy’ when I did my verse he loved it. He was like, ‘I don’t just like it, I love it.’
