In the latest edition of Page Six Magazine, Kimono, Digimon and kids Ming Lee, 9, Aoki Lee, 7, and 5-month-old Kenzo [in a sweater to match his dad’s] pose for a family holiday portrait inside their 40,000-square-foot Saddle River Mansion.

On her life with her new husband, and the rumors that their marriage is not a legal one:

“We’re married. That’s all. It happened in Africa, in Benin. The girls were there, and we had a wonderful time. It was very calm, family-motivated and spiritual. Djimon and I enjoy discussing anything from politics to wine, and we have enriching, private, happy, balanced lives together. That’s probably the thing that would shock people most: We do things like go to the grocery store and have fun with our kids. We’re a normal family, doing the best we can.”

On being a self-made entrepreneur and independent woman:

“It’s absolutely true! Do I need anything from [Djimon]?” No. I focus on my kids. I work my butt off. That might be one high-maintenance thing about me: My schedule is always crazy. So am I up and on the phone early in the morning? Yes. Is that sometimes annoying? Yes. But I hold my weight emotionally in a relationship. At times, sure, if you’re down and I’m up, and I can lend you a hand, or vice versa, great. I’m a very supportive partner.”

Quick Flicks: Kimora + Djimon Attend The Harrods Emerald Ball

kimora1 Quick Flicks: Kimora + Djimon Attend The Harrods Emerald Ball

I initially wanted to name this post The Princess and the Frog but that wouldn’t be right to Digimon.

With gloss on her lips and a man on her hips* Kimora wrangled up her Baby Kenzo feeders and traveled to London to attend the Harrods Emerald Ball. I will never understand this couple but I can live with that. What I can’t live with however is Mo-apostrophe-Nique’s 40 yard dash up the stairs in the commercial for Precious. It was powerful the first time but not so much now.

* That’s my last Beyonce reference for the day, I promise.

Baby Kenzo was fast asleep as his mother and sisters waved to the crowd at the end of the Baby Phat & KLS Collection fashion show at Roseland Ballroom on Tuesday night. If you happened to be out doing hoe shit walking in Times Square last night and glimpsed the second coming of the Attack of the 50 Foot Woman its because the show was broadcast simultaneously there as well.

In other celebrity seeds new, Erykah Badu and Jay Electronica’s baby girl Mars was spotted for the first time this week as well. Don’t be surprised if Kelis gets in on the action too.

Star Tracks: Kimora Lee Simmons At The Grand Opening JCPenney’s Manhattan Store

jcp2 Star Tracks: Kimora Lee Simmons At The Grand Opening JCPenneys Manhattan Store

Global Grind this! Kimono The Big Japanese Man made her first public appearance since the June birth of son Kenzo on Friday afternoon at the lunch launch of JCPenny’s first Manhattan retail store in Herald Square on Friday. Your baby fat jokes are not welcomed in this post.

Kimono spent her time in the store shopping for ties with Mayor Bloomberg and spreading fabulosity and incurable heterosexual tang* to children from local after school programs and members of the general public. The grand opening offered discounts on items throughout the store for up to 30 percent off of the original price. Nice! Students and parents of Crunkland, how have your back-to-school shopping experiences been so far?

*It does exist. I have been suffering from the disease for years.
