Mrs. Gibson tells Billboard.com that her upcoming reality series, Family First, will focus on the making of her fifth studio album

During the six episode series, Keyshia Cole will be crafting her follow up album to “Calling All Hearts” (2010). “I just kind of lay out all my emotions then we start from there. I usually work with big name producers and stuff like once all from my heart and soul is out that I need to get out,” Keyshia said.

Earlier this month Keyshia announced Kevin Liles as her new manager, via Twitter, after parting ways with Manny Halley in January. “I think me and Kevin connect spiritually and that means a lot to me as well,” Keyshia says of Liles. Keyshia plans to have Liles listen to a few tracks then release new music in December.

Aside from a look into the making of her yet to be titled album, Keyshia Cole and husband, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson, plan to re-wed during the taping of Family First. “Me and my husband are having our big wedding that I’ve always wanted to have,” Keyshia Cole told The Juice. Kate being able to relate to “the struggle” and all could mean so many things in KeyLoLo’s world, surviving weeks at a time on Frito corn chips and Four Loko being the absolute first harsh reality of Oakland hood life to come to mind, but don’t let my interpretation of her tweet get in the way.
