‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ continued its successful comeback into the world of late night television by welcoming rapper Kendrick Lamar and actor David Oyelowo from ‘The Butler’ last night. Watch clips from the show after the jump.
Yesterday, Snoop Lion dropped by 106 & Park to announce that he will host this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards, which will be taped Sept. 28 at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center, and aired on Oct. 15. Trinidad James (that damn hair) and French Montana were also in the building.

Dr. Dre’s protégé Kendrick Lamar practically came out of nowhere and is not a man of many words. His mixtape ‘Overly Dedicated’ blew up in 2010 and his independent album ‘Section. 80’ on iTunes in 2011. But, the rap newcomer says he’s not bothered about battling country queen Taylor Swift for Billboard’s #1 album this week.
“I’m not trying to go outside of my boundaries,” Kendrick tells DJ Vlad. “[I] really can’t compete with that. All I can do is supply my base, feed my base.”
The streets must be starving because sales estimates say ‘Good Kid: M.A.A.D City’ is on track to move up to 240,000 copies.
