A smiling Kelly Rowland was photographed on Thanksgiving Day in London. Auntie Kizzy expects to be in the delivery room when Golden Glazed Giselle drops her load off at the docks. Somebody has to be trustworthy enough to snatch up the Queen’s afterbirth before Mathew Knowles can put it on the black market. Sorry Solange.
“I wouldn’t miss the birth of Beyoncé’s baby. I can’t. I don’t want to miss those moments. It’s life happening to people that I love and I want to be a part of it,” the X Factor judge told the Daily Mail.
Rowland says she learned her lesson the hard way in 2009 while in the UK promoting her solo album when another close friend went into labor.
“My best friend had a baby and I wasn’t there to see the baby born . . . I watched my best friend’s baby being born on Skype,” she explained. “I get choked up even now talking about it because I wasn’t there. So now it’s important to me to share those moments.”
