Although he isn’t a full-blown Bieleber in all things Shawty Mane related Jermaine Dupri thinks that Justin Bieber accomplished the recognition he was looking out for when he debuted his “Otis” freestyle.

“I don’t find that amazing to me . . . He’s a very impressionable age where he can learn how to flow damn near better than people actually rapping you’ve heard of,” Dupri tells The Source.

“He’s a kid, that what he lives.”

He continued: “I think he does it just because he’s young, and that’s the youth. The youth, all they care about is Lil’ Wayne man, they don’t care about shit else . . . His age group don’t listen to nothing else but Lil’ Wayne, so when you’re that age you’re forced to try to make people think you are as cool as possible.”

“I think what would be incredible for him to know is that someone from The Source can to interview me and they told me I had to hear it.”

Talking shit can write a check that ass can’t cash. Literally.

C+D fave Al Reynold’s is mad as all hell with Star Jones. Reynolds is demanding $50,000 from Star for bad mouthing him in the press. The ex-couple divorced four years ago and agreed in their divorce agreement not to trade shots in the media . . . Welp! Star went on Uncle Wendell William’s talk show this past March and was quoted saying “The wedding was fabulous, but the marriage was kind of booty.” Tell us how you really feel, Star.

But that ain’t it! Star supposedly continued her rant and denounced her Celebrity Apprentice co-star, NeNe Leakes who happens to be the zestlemen’s “rumored, current girlfriend”. Although Al denies these rumors, I wouldn’t be surprised. You shouldn’t be either. Al & NeNe? That’s a match made in heaven. Me thinks they should have many Al B Sure Moose with the hair all wavy together. Black love.

Heard about this seven-month old Jermaine Dupri has with some [alleged] stripper? Sources say Hip Hop’s Pocket Pal ain’t paid ATL resident Sarai Jones child support in forever. And with good reason too. He’s broke! Details below:

The lawsuit was filed at a time when Dupri is facing financial troubles. His mansion was up for foreclosure and set to be auctioned last week, but the sale was canceled at the last minute.

WSB-TV obtained records from the Georgia Department of Revenue, saying that Dupri owes the state more than $493,000 in back taxes for 2007. (source)

Now bare with me. The child is seven months old. Add those nine months with child and you got at least sixteen months. That’s a year and then some. Alert me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t he with Janet a year and a half ago when we first heard that their relationship was heading to Splitsville? Me thinks this is why they split. Altogether now: I’m sorry, Ms Jackson!

After waking up out my self inflicted diabetic coma I had to follow up to that last depressing entry with a positive example of parenting. I still mean what I said about Ricky Martin, though.

Jermaine Dupri’s daughter Shaniah Mauldin is making me feel like a straight up old trout right about now. I remember when she was a cute little girl walking hand in hand with her daddy. She’s really blossoming into a pretty young lady. I’m interested in seeing what type of moves she makes in the years to come. Her family has an incredible work ethic out of this world, so I’m sure she is inspired in one way or another by that.

First and foremost, she is an irrelevant bish who has NOT sold an album since she mozied onto the hoe stroll in the 1970’s aka when sesame street premiered. The rest of this shit is LAHS. Born into a life that would grow to be without hairlines, career moves or websites Yung Ferb was given to a military family. Loving was raised primarily on Long Island, but moved about regularly as her family followed her father’s military assignments which she shoulda put some money in a bank because now it’s just sad. Along with her parents, Bishop Jacob and First-Lady Cynthia Loving Sr., she lived in Texas, Atlanta, Georgia, and Fayetteville, North Carolina before settling in Baltimore, Maryland. Dreams of becoming a famous singer began early and she always remained focused on this goal, performing in talent competitions wherever her family would settle.

Signed with Elektra Records Loving entered the music industry as a protégé of then-labelmate Missy Elliott. Her debut single was entitled “5 Minutes” from the Why Do Fools Fall In Love soundtrack, co-written by Keli Nicole Price. She appeared on tracks for Elliott’s Da Real World in 1999. “Hot Boyz” became Loving’s breakout appearance. She was featured in the music video for the song’s remix alongside guest rappers Nas and Eve, and Elliott subsequently became a trusted adviser and friend. She was featured on rapper Jay-Z’s song “Parking Lot Pimpin’” from the 2000 The Dynasty: Roc La Familia album. Not very well known, she was the female voice on the 2001 hit “Wifey” by Next. She has performed with and written songs for many artists including Blackstreet, Next, Bow Wow, Keith Sweat, Canela Cox, 3LW, Nicole Wray, Mocha and ODB.

Loving’s next big exposure came in early 2001, when she was featured on Ja Rule’s single “Put It On Me” alongside Ja Rule’s <a title="Murder Inc. Records labelmate Vita. The single was a hit on both urban and pop radio, and reached number eight on the US pop charts, and more collaborations by Ja Rule and Lil’ Mo followed, including “I Cry”, which repurposed The O’Jays‘ 1978 hit “Cry Together”. In the Summer of 2002 Loving collaborated with label mates Angie Martinez & Sacario on If I Could Go.

[edit] BASED(GOD) On A True Story (1999 – 2002)

With a contract in hand, she had to stand her ground when record company executives wanted to force a certain look on her, rather than allow her to sport the rainbow braids that have become something of a trademark for the singer. She has become an icon in Korean beauty supply stores across the nation, including those that only sell Vigorol Liquid Relaxer and mesh shower caps.

Unfortunately, not everyone was as thrilled with Lil’ Mo’s success as she, her friends, and collaborators were. Just before her debut was set to hit record store shelves in the summer of 2001, a man attacked the singer in San Francisco just outside the Warfield, a theater where she had just finished a performance. He used a champagne bottle to club the singer’s head. At the time Loving was unaware of the extent of her injury. Reportedly, she seemed more concerned about her broken designer shoe. This is why her face looks even more worse than the street corners of Detroit. Such a pity. She ended up with almost two dozen stitches and required a few coochie throws and a part time job at a Burger King to pay off that “broken designer shoe” her heaux ass almost died over. A majority of the publicity appearances scheduled for the following month, which had been specially timed to coincide with the release of her debut, had to be canceled until she regained her health. Unfortunately, she did not slip into a coma.

Later that year, Mo released her debut album, Based On A True Story, on Elektra Records, and had a successful single of her own, “Superwoman (Part II).” The “Part II” remix, featuring hip-hop newcomer Fabolous, was an up-tempo, hip-hop flavored record, using an instrumental track producer DJ Clue had originally intended for M.O.P.. The video was also a huge hit on MTV2 and BET. The album’s second single, “Gangsta”, contained a sample of Snoop Dogg’s “Gin And Juice”, but failed to find an audience.

Despite the after effects she suffered, the singer persevered and continued to sing and write. Months later, she started working on air at Baltimore’s radio station WXYV, where she hosted a highly-rated drive time music program. She remained as a radio DJ until leaving in June 2002 to await her first daughter’s birth and devote more time to her singing career.

After a falling out with Ja Rule and Irv Gotti, caused by Loving’s accusations that they now favored using new Murder Inc. artist Ashanti for collaborations instead of her, she ended all associations with Murder Inc. in 2002. Since, Ja Rule has taken some shots at former friend, Loving, calling her a “loose pussy slut”, and crediting himself as the reason why she had any hits. She refused to fire back, calling the whole thing “juvenile.” Lil’ Mo tried to throw pussy from the free throw line to the entire Murder Inc. roster. They all threw it right back to her ass. Except Ashanti, whose sideburns drew power from its deep and powerful gravitational energy field. Since then, Lil’ Mo has struggled to find work and usually resorts to rinsing out Charli Baltimore’s pussy or juggling Tony! Toni! Toné!’s balls for a check.

[edit] Meet the Girl Next Door (2003)

During the mid-2003, Mo appeared on two important singles with Fabolous, who partially had Mo to thank for his own break into the industry, and who has since been more successful on both urban and mainstream charts than Mo herself. Their first duet was “Can’t Let You Go“, the first single from Fabolous’ Street Dreams LP, was one of 2003’s biggest rap and mainstream pop hits. The other duet, “4 Ever”, the first official single from Lil’ Mo’s own second album, Meet The Girl Next Door, was a major urban and R&B hit, but did not achieve pop success.

After her contract with Elektra expired at the end of 2004, she moved over to the Cash Money Records. Syndicated (The Lil’ Mo Hour) Was supposed to mark a new beginning in many ways for Lil’ Mo. It was her debut for the new joint venture between Cash Money Records, (headed by co C.E.O.’s Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Baby” Williams), and Roun’Table Entertainment. She released four minor singles. However, her third album Syndicated: The Lil’ Mo Hour never saw the light of day and her contract with Cash Money was broken in 2006.[citation needed]

She is currently working on a new album tentatively titled “Tattoos & Roses: The Rebellion Against My Pain” (confirmed by Lil’ Mo herself in an interview), a mixtape, and a reality show for 2008.

With “Pain & Paper” sales at barely below one-hundred thousand, Lil’ Mo signed to Global Music Group for a two-album contract. She has said in a recent interview that the album will be a double disc; half of it being a live production. The album is currently titled “Tattoos & Roses: The Rebellion Against My Pain”. In a 2010 interview, Mo confirmed that guest appearances on the album would include MC Lyte, Tweet, Fabolous and other performers that she has admired in the music industry.

The Dream [I still can't with that name] spoke to newly launched Rap Radar about his new album, losing weight ["I only loss about 20 pounds. Just keep having sex three hours at a time," he says] and you hate spewing momofukas hating on his new ball tickler / artist Christina Milian’s new hair color. Here’s more on the latter:

Uh, duly noted. Recently, your girlfriend Christina Milian has caught a lot of heat over the pictures she took at the Atlanta Hawks game.

Oh yeah, they hate her. [But] I love it. Cause evidently, we controlling the airwaves right now. People that can’t hate on me are going to hate on her.

You think that’s what it is?

I don’t get it! Me and her had this conversation, “Like what the hell are they looking at? Like, maybe it’s something wrong with they computer screen and maybe Rasputia comes up every time they looking at you,” cause I don’t know, I have no idea. Like, I think something is wrong. When we go out the country they go crazy [for her]. I get back here, I read a blog— it makes no sense.

It seems much of criticism comes from the blonde dye job.

That shit look good to me. She is an artist. She changed her hair color cause she wanted to change it. I aint have shit to do with it. Why I look like walking around making someone change their hair color. Like y’all aint got nothing to do.

Did you feel some sort of way about Johntá Austin, Jermaine Dupri, and Usher were clowning her?

Hmm mmm, of course I did. I called all of them. First person I called was Johntá Austin.

What did he say?

He ain’t know she was over here with Radio Killa like that, but I’m like in any event why are y’all, Grammy winning, critically-acclaimed songwriters, gentleman— It doesn’t make any sense to do that. I didn’t get it. I really didn’t get it. That’s like me doing that. Maybe I just have an ego that’s going to make me come down off my horse to talk about you. It’s not going to happen. Even in the cross of saying anything back, everybody calling “Hey man, what you going to—” Man, I ain’t saying nothing. I’m me. I’ll say everything I want to say on the left side of Billboard charts.

On the boards with your name next to triangle?

A triangle, a rectangle, whatever it is. Nobody ain’t got time for that. Most of my concern with Johntá is; first off, I know you were just goofing off and that you don’t believe that ’cause if you seen her you would try to holla at her.

I know I would.

So, I know it ain’t that. So what is it? Cause other than that you messing with my money. Now when you playing with my money, [you] talking a whole ‘nother ball game.

Right.

And to clear this up, “Oh, she fuckin’ for tracks” and this shit, I be like these muthafuckas must be stupid. It’s a recession ain’t nobody got to fuck for tracks. We basically giving them away. There’s a clearance! When I started to really want to build my label, I went looking for her. I was like, where is she at? I need that person over here. She’s talented and she’s a good person. I met a lot of people. That’s what I told Johntá. We know a lot of people that ain’t good people. You don’t do that to good people.

Did you speak to Usher?

He called me and told me he was sorry and or whatever. But she on Radio Killa. She feel a certain way about it, then I’m good on you. We can’t even work. [Read The Rest]
