This week, Mashonda played host at her spacious Edgewater, New Jersey home to R&B songstress Marsha Ambrosius, entertainment reporter Janell Snowden and ghost of VH1′s past Jennifer Williams ”for a night of intimate (bordering on emotional) conversations that ranged from Marsha’s last memories with the great Michael Jackson, to Jennifer’s experiences in the reality limelight, and Janell’s hair moments as an early anchor.”
With a night filled with delicious looking cupcakes and medleys of Marsha’s music, the only thing missing was LaLa Anthony playing place holder in the photo ops.
After unleashing a plague of Biblical proportions complete with frogs, hail, darkness and locusts on Uncle Wendell at the top of the week, the fair assumption that Lil Kim would do everything within her power to insure that her face was on its best behavior for all future public appearances doesn’t sound at all far fetched. Hit her up on Twitter to ask about how that is working out.

Essence saluted Solange Knowles and Lianne La Havas at its 4th Annual Essence Black Women In Music Event. The Lincoln sponsored invitation-only affair was hosted by Essence magazine editor-at-large Emil Wilbekin and last year’s honoree Kelly Rowland.

Jennifer’s new boo is the CEO of CMG Entertainment, an entertainment and booking company specializing in the urban entertainment market. So, if you are trying to book Tony Sunshine and Somaya Reece as surprise performers for a Quinceañera he’s the man to speak with.
The couple’s first meeting wasn’t exactly love at first sight. “I did a video for him, for one of his artists. It was one of his new artists, and Bobby Valentino was in the video. But we just met then and nothing happened,” explained Jennifer to Sister 2 Sister magazine publisher Jamie Foster Brown.
“I did reach out to her just because when things like that happen, you just put all the other BS to the side. I wouldn’t want to see my worst enemy go through that,” she says.
“I was very distraught to hear that,” Jennifer expressed in a video interview with website Hip Hollywood “I think everyone knows I was a big advocate against violence, regardless of whether it was domestic violence or whether it was women fighting.”
Make It Rain: Jennifer Williams And Friend Angela Yee Hit Miami’s King Of Diamonds
Once merely a little Latin boy in drag, Somaya Reece is a candidate for some major motor boating. To her credit, the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ rapper is looking a lot like her former, smokin’ hot let-me-add-you-on-Myspace-but-the-hell-with-your-music self. Dialing it back a bit on make-up and a breast reduction is sometimes all a girl needs.
Below, check out additional flicks of Somaya, Jennifer Williams, Ginuwine and more inside New York City’s Limelight Marketplace last week.
