Whenever someone refers to Justin Timberlake as JT it always makes me think of JTT. It’s still Tool Time in the vaginas of millions (Adam Lambert’s included) and the gears in my mind can’t help but turn on a number of what if’s had the two traded places in pop culture. For example, what if Jonathan Taylor Thomas had been the one to have Janet Jackson naked by the end of that song at Super Bowl XXXVIII?
At any rate, the former Mouseketeer was photographed chumming it up on the music video set for “Suit & Tie” collaborator Jay-Z. Watch the lyric video for the track below.
Checkey Beckford, a reporter for the WNBC, had just started reporting about the post- Hurricane Sandy return of several Long Island Railroad commuter trains outside of New York City’s Penn Station when a woman came up behind her and proclaimed “Hi, I’m Jay-Z’s sister! He was looking for me on the subway!”
On Saturday (November 3) the Brooklyn Nets held their home court debut at the Barclays Center hosting the Toronto Raptors. As expected, Beyonce was front and center supporting her hubby Jay-Z‘s coins investment.
Only King Bey is capable of turning a Dereon picnic tablecloth into an outfit and still look elegant in the eyes of her stans. She accessorized the outfit with a blue ring (homage to Sacred Lamb of Tribeca maybe?) and Barack Obama hoop earrings by Erika Pena. What’s your verdict on her style?
The silent slow motion commercial for D’Usse VSOP cognac depicting Jay-Z as a business professional unwinding from the day that was by enjoying the drink along with a fine cigar will surely resonate with a select demographic. For the rest of us hard working but hardly there yet folks its Steel Reserve 211 beer, wine flavored Black And Mild cigars and VH1 reality television programming.

Solange looked pretty damn good as she arrived at the 40/40 Club in Manhattan to attend a glamorous fundraiser for President Barack Obama hosted by sister Beyonce and brother-in-law Jay-Z on Tuesday night. The event raised more than $4 million for President Obama’s re-election campaign. Tickets for the event cost $40,000.
In her introduction of the President, Beyonce, wearing a red cocktail dress, reiterated her support of POTUS, telling donors she and her husband “believe in his vision.”
During the evening, Obama joked that he had a lot in common with Hov, telling the audience: “We both have daughters. And our wives are more popular than we are.” He turned to his host and added: ”So you know. So we’ve got a little bond there. It’s hard, but it’s OK.”
Obama also praised Beyonce, describing her as positive a role model to his daughters Sasha and Malia. ”She carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent,” he said.
Fuck your feelings, Harry Belafonte is bombing first. The legendary singer and social activist has condemned music power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z for ‘turning their back on social responsibility’ in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
When asked if he was happy with the image of minorities in Hollywood today, the 85-year-old replied: “Not at all. They have not told the history of our people, nothing of who we are. We are still looking.”
“We are not determinated. We are not driven by some technology that says you can kill Afghans, the Iraqis or the Spanish. It is all — excuse my French — shit. It is sad.”
“And I think one of the great abuses of this modern time is that we should have had such high-profile artists, powerful celebrities,” he continued. “But they have turned their back on social responsibility. That goes for Jay-Z and Beyonce, for example. Give me Bruce Springsteen, and now you’re talking. I really think he is black.”
