Tami Roman dialed up Philly’s 107.9 Morning Show to set the record straight on her controversial advice to friend Evelyn Lozada towards the end of the ‘Basketball Wives’ Season 5 premiere episode on Monday night.
“Evelyn has openly admitted since we taped a year ago, that had the world not been involved, had nobody known what had happened she would have gone right back to Chad. So with her saying that, my advice then became, if that’s the relationship you want to keep and you feel like it’s worth saving — go to counseling.”
While out to dinner with the rest of the girls, Tami made the suggestion to Evelyn that if she believed her marriage to Chad Johnson was worth saving that she should “step out on faith” and give him a second chance.
Former NFL star Chad Johnson‘s plea deal for no jail time fell apart today when he playfully slapped his male attorney on the ass at his probation hearing inside a Broward County, Fla. courtroom. Do me a favor and read the preceding sentence three more times. Ladies and gentlemen, this is that fuck shit.
ESPN reports Judge Kathleen McHugh says the 35-year-old wasn’t taking things seriously enough, even after he returned to the courtroom and apologized for his behavior. In return, McHugh slapped his ass with a 30-day jail sentence and also extended his probation for three months.
“I don’t know that you’re taking this whole thing seriously. I just saw you slap your attorney on the backside. Is there something funny about this?” McHugh said, slapping the plea deal document down on her desk. “The whole courtroom was laughing. I’m not going to accept these plea negotiations. This isn’t a joke.”
