The call to “Marvin’s Room” is turning out to be one expensive ass drunk dial.

A woman named Ericka Lee, who also claims to have had a romantic and business relationship with Snuffleupagus between early 2010 and mid 2011, has come forward to say that the voice on the other end of the phone call and is now suing the rapper for excluding her from sharing co-writer royalties on one of his biggest hits to date and his Aaliyah screen printed pillowcases. Lee claims in the suit that Drake agreed to work on the song and split the proceeds. She says she was supposed to record the song’s hook and an opening monologue. But six weeks later, Drake and his record company had a change of heart. Lee alleges that Drizzy then sent her a text offering 2% of song royalties.

The Hollywood Reporter – Last year, Drake allegedly agreed to work with Lee on “Marvin’s Room” and split the proceeds. Lee says she was asked to record the song’s “hook” as well as the opening monologue that would serve as the thematic framework for a song about Drake’s yearning for an ex-girlfriend and how his fame interfered with his love life. “Plaintiff’s contribution is highly significant to the overall work,” says the complaint.

Drake supposedly acknowledged Lee’s contributions in text messages sent to her. One read, “U basically made that song.” Another read, “It’s s–t without you.”

Drake purportedly gave Lee credit as a “vocalist” on the song as “Syren Lyric Muse.” Additionally, the parties are said to have registered the sound recording at the U.S. Copyright Office. On July 11, Lee made a claim there, saying “My works and voice are used on this work.” About six weeks later, Drake’s label, Cash Money Records made its own claim, saying that the song authored was an “employer for hire.”

Lee reports that after the song was released, their relationship ended and got ugly fast. The two discussed meeting in Los Angeles, but it never happened. According to the complaint, Drake later sent a text message to Lee that offered her 2 percent of “publishing royalties.”

By November, Lee hired a lawyer, which allegedly caused Drake to make threatening phone calls. “What the f–k is your problem?” he said to her, according to the complaint, then offering her “4-5%” of publishing monies plus a $50,000 payout to go away.

Instead, Lee has filed a lawsuit over “Marvin’s Room,” which has been viewed more than 39 million times on YouTube. She demands a judge declare her as co-writer of the song. She’s also seeking damages and disgorgement of profits on allegations of breach of fiduciary duties and unjust enrichment. Lee is represented by Neville Johnson, who previously filed a lawsuit against Drake on behalf of a Playboy Enterprises for sampling an unauthorized sound recording it owned on “Best I Ever Had.”

Aubrey has made his affinity for Aaliyah creepily clear with his constant shout outs, random open letters to the dead that seemed more appropriate for a séance versus a blog post, and now shots like these featuring the face of the singer on his surprisingly nice back. While I know it’s Drake’s body and he and Lil’ Wayne are free to do with it as they please (kidding, y’all), it’s still weird — even for reasons outside the obvious.

So Furious – Last month, Aabriyah the Pooh discussed the infamous Girl With The Forehead Tattoo and threatened to attack Kevin Campbell, the tattoo artist who created it.

Now according to Kevin’s twitter account, Drake actually paid a visit to Will Rise Tattoo in LA where Kevin works, and sent his security guard in the shop while he sat in the car.

“When Drake was in LA last, he parked out front the shop and sent in his huge security dude,” the tattoo man tweeted. “I think it’s just funny that he made the threats and when I actually responded, he sent in the troops…”

You know a tattoo is truly great when half the people you show it to screw their faces up and look like they’re about to keel over and puke, and the other half flat-out cry “fake”. If, like me, you’re a hip-hop nerd you’ll no doubt have seen the photo of a freshly inked DRAKE forehead tattoo that went viral on the rap interwebs this past Tuesday. Now you may cringe in disgust at the very idea of someone so clearly insane being allowed to get this done, but to me, this is just another raw and swollen step towards the day T.O. is officially on the rap map, and so fucking what if it takes a sweater-wearing ex-Degrassi kid from the wealthy Forest Hill suburb to do it? I don’t care who it is. It’s about damn time any Toronto rapper gets tattooed on someone’s face.

Yet despite how genuinely psyched I was about this girl’s near-religious expression of adoration, there were a few questions left floating in my mind; is this going to ruin her life? Who did this? Was she high as fuck one night and thought it would be a larf, or was she emotionally inspired by Drake’s soft and tender voice that touched her soul? More importantly, where are her eyebrows?
