Diddy is back in the headlines this week but only this time when he jumped in the middle of a situation he made a positive impact. The mogul was able to help save The Boys &Girls Club in his native Harlem from closure by making a generous donation.
The famed nonprofit was debating whether to close one of its four sites uptown or cut back on sports and tutoring programs throughout Harlem.
But Diddy, who lived in Esplanade Gardens, off W. 148th St. and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd., until he was 12, said he didn’t want kids from his old neighborhood to lose out.
“Being from Harlem, I heard they needed help, and I wanted to help,” Diddy told the Daily News. This “is something that I am proud to do.”
Boys & Girls Club of Harlem board member Willie Bentley said he talked to a friend who works for Diddy last Tuesday in hopes the star could help. By Friday, the five-figure funds were sent to the club. “The contribution puts the club in a good place for the time being,” Bentley said. (source)
The money will help pay for basketball games, math and reading tutors, plus gym classes for the 3,000 kids who attend the sites located on W. 144th St., W. 133th St., Amsterdam Ave. and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd.
Always proud dad Diddy shared the above picture of eldest daughter Chance Combs with more than three million of his Twitter followers on Tuesday, writing “my babys 1st day of kinder garden. Princess Chance Combs.” Adorable!
In an interview with Essence magazine back in 2007 longtime ex-girlfriend Kim Porter candidly spoke on an associate revealing that Chance’s mom, then mystery woman Sarah Chapman, was also expecting while she was still pregnant with twin girls D’Lila Star and Jessie James.
“I wasn’t even coming from the place of who, what, why. I laid low and did what women do: I did my background work, collected information [about the other woman],” explained Porter. “But I wasn’t even on it like that because I was pregnant, and what was bubbling inside me was a blessing from God. RadarOnline.com reports that she blames P.Diddy, Kim Porter and LAPD brutality victim Rodney King for the collapse of the World Trade Center amongst other outrageous alleged atrocities.
“[Diddy] went through Kim Porter and Rodney King and knocked down the WTC and then they all came and knocked my children down,” Turks claims in her lawsuit. “Set me up to be on disability and disabled my baby. he put my baby in a wheelchair,” the lawsuit reads.
The lawsuit also accuses Mouf Breeva of stealing the woman’s “chip” at a Casino in Mississippi.
This post should have been paying homage to Mouf Breeva for walking around with a haircut that makes him look like one of Maxine Shaw’s love interests on an episode of Living Single but fortunately for Kim Porter its not.

While aboard his yacht in St. Barts during a recent family vacation, Mouf Breeva shared his assessment on how President Obama is handling business in the White House thus far with The Source managing editor Reggie “Combat Jack” Osse for the cover story of the hip-hop bible’s Power Issue.
“I love the president like most of us. I just want the president to do better. There’s a difference between us voting for somebody and us believing in somebody. He’s the person that we believed in so I pray night and day that he understands how God ordained his presidency. I feel there was a promise made to God to look after people that was less fortunate, and [many] of those people are African-American.”
