The stunning Lupita Nyong’o stepped out in style wearing a Miu Miu dress and Christian Louboutin heels for the premiere of her new film ’12 Years A Slave’ held at the Directors Guild of America on Monday night (October 14) in Los Angeles.
The actress was joined at the event by co-stars Alfre Woodard and Chiwetel Ejiofor, as well as Jesse Williams, Common, Russell Simmons, and the film’s director Steve McQueen.
Born in Mexico and raised in Kenya (and now a resident of Brooklyn), Nyong’o studied at the Yale School of Drama before scoring her key supporting role in the drama as a young woman called Patsey. The 30-year-old beauty is being pegged as the only woman who can prevent Oprah from winning her first acting Oscar statue. Not bad at all.
