“She has a lot of personality, and it would have been great for people to see our interaction as mother and daughter — we have a beautiful relationship. That’s the only thing I’m kind of bummed about, but I just want her to continue to have her privacy and her normal life.”

According to the show’s producers, Brandy’s character is a “fun, strong woman who gives Jason a run for his money.”

“’With ‘The Game,’ I’ve joined the talented cast of a smart and entertaining TV show and I get to work with the amazing [show creator] Mara Brock Akil,” B Rocka said in a statement.

Explaining industry politics and life beyond the vocal booth to concerned fans anxiously waiting for new music on her BET reality series ‘Still Standing’ was one of the best moves Monica made in order to resuscitate her career.
