Our source said when Brown, famed for his troubled marriage to Whitney Houston, and his team returned to the Intrepid for the event, “security spoke to Bobby’s management and the situation was resolved.”

A rep for Brown confirmed the incident, saying, “It wasn’t anything detrimental or anything. He did it in a playful way and it was fine. It was a misunderstanding. Everything was fine; no one had any issues.” (source)

Bobby Brown: I don’t know how we got to be together. I guess once my marriage was over and I was out here (in L.A.) — and she’s been my friend for a long time. Alecia Etheredge: Bobby and I knew each other before he and Whitney were married, then ran into each other a few times while they were married but never really started hanging out again clearly until after that time. Bobby moved back to L.A. Actually, he had a show here at the Greek . . . That’s when we saw each other again. So I went to his concert, you know, being a fan and knowing that he was going to do his thing and enjoy the show. Tommy (Bobby’s brother) brought me back and he wanted to say hi. And then we never lost contact again.

WORKING THINGS OUT WITH NEW EDITION

We all decided that the only way we could rebuild what we had before is through God. And every Sunday we all get together and spend at least two hours on the phone, just hashing everything out, talking and praying and just trying to make things better for the group. And our friendship. That’s what we lost. We lost our friendship because so much of the business was weighing on us. So now we’re working on the friendship, and that’s doing to make the difference on how New Edition is sand what New Edition is and how our legacy continues.

HOW FILMING HIS REALITY HIT BEING BOBBY BROWN HELPED HIM IN THE LONG RUN

It was like therapy for me. You have to realize, I had just gotten out of prison right before I shot that. The day I shot that, the first day was the first day I had gotten out of prison.
