Looking Good, Feeling Great
Now here is a young man that understands what it means to get right for the Spring. I don’t have the slightest idea of who the hell Patrick Cooper is but something tells me he owns a gold lame draped office chair. By the way, the smell emanating through your computer’s speakers is his fabulous mystique.
I wonder if this dashiki is available in a Louis Vuitton or Gucci monogram. I want one for my Super Sweet Birthday Celebration next month. Somebody hook that up.
What event did PC wear this fabulous frock to? Keep on keeping on to find out.

Malinda Williams In King Magazine
If you don’t wish to see the create-a-player girls from the Flavor of Love on this month’s issue of King, you can check actress Malinda Williams out instead.
Malinda Williams’ personalities fall in the pussy family. Although she’s generally playful — a trait she refers to as being a kitten — the New Jersey-bred actress turns tiger when pleasure takes a backstep to business. “The tiger gets me where I need to go,” she says. “Sometimes she just shows her face to check people.” In a business with limited roles for Black women, a shorty’s gotta eat. And in addition to starting her Modern Goddess lingerie line, Malinda, 30, has been feasting on acting gigs. She landed a spot on NBC’s mid-season ensemble drama Windfall (A Black woman wins the lottery. That’s fiction at its best.) and a leading roll as Big Boi’s superwife in the OutKast musical Idlewild. Gotta respect her growl.
KING You’ve been acting professionally since you were 11. Any casting- couch horror stories?
MALINDA WILLIAMS Now I’m a lot clearer on how I want to navigate this industry. It’s like driving on a racetrack. If you let your eyes off the road for one second it can be disastrous. You have to keep your mind on the finish line, and that’s where my mind is focused.
Red flag! That type of determination and drive in a woman is usually very intimidating to a man.
I’ve definitely noticed that. I’ll see men across the room thinking, “She don’t wanna talk to me.” It’s an unfortunate thing because to me confidence is one of the sexiest things a man can have. For women like me who have found and stepped into their power, it takes a super-confident dude to be by my side. (continue)

The Movie “ATL” Said To Cause Possible Behavior Problems In Theaters
This week’s opening of the urban drama “ATL” is causing a lot of pre-emptive activity among malls throughout Atlanta, where the movie was shot. A memo obtained by the city’s Channel 2 Action News reveals the company General Growth, which owns local malls Cumberland and Perimeter, sent a memo warning staff at its properties showing the film to “prepare” for its release on Friday, stating: “The movie could cause behavior problems among customers.” Greg Alexander, owner of Cascade Skating Rink where parts of the “ATL” were filmed, was shown the memo by Action News. He said in response: “I think it has a possibility that it could be discriminatory.” Alexander says he has written proof from the filmmakers that the movie, starring rappers T.I., Big Boi and actor Evan Ross, would not contain gratuitous sex and violence. (continue)
Yeah if I had to see T.I. with his shirt off it would make me want to start a riot too. But from what I’ve seen in the movie trailer I don’t see how the hell this movie would make someone get ignorant in the theater. Now if they were talking about doing some mean roller skating tricks that another story.
Out on the Town
- On Thanksgiving Day the 14th Annual Ryan Cameron Celebrity Bowling Challenge took place at the Atlanta Fun Center in Stone Mountain, GA. ATL all-stars like Chris Tucker, Monica (along with her husssbandRock), Big Boi and Ludacris came out to enjoy the fun.
- I’ve peeped Vivica and Star Jones out together on more than one occassion in the past but now another B-list celeb has been added to the equation. I just want to know one thing.
- Here we go! The rhinestone princess Trina was at the DJ Khaled Birthday Party on 11.23 at the Mansion Nightclub in Miami Beach, FL. She performed along side her baby Weezy F. (the “F” stands for FEMA now by the way) Baby on stage. I must be going crazy because these two are starting to grow on me a little.
- Last but not least Jay-Z and Beyonce were spotted coming out of a midtown restaurant yesterday. Its amazing how people (myself included obviously) make a big deal out of these two. Oh well, I can’t help it. While Kelly was out in Lala land to pick up two American Music Awards (and Michelle stuck in a Motel 6 in Texas washing Beyonce’s wigs), Bey was out in NYC shooting the video for “Check On It”, the new upcoming single from Destiny’s Child #1′s at the Sony Studios. Hype Wiliiams directed the clip which features fellow Houstonians Slim Thug and Bun B.
Okay gang that’s pretty much it for now. I didn’t plan on posting today but you know how it is. You come online in the middle of a “Good Times” marathon for a recap and end up staying for two hours. Ciao until Monday!
