Kanye West, T.I. Speak About Chris Brown And Rihanna Incident
Via National Post:
The rap world is beginning to speak out on Chris Brown’s arrest and the alleged assault against his girlfriend, Rihanna.
Kanye West opened up about the situation on Ryan Seacrest’s 102.7 KIIS FM radio show on Tuesday. He said he is “devastated” by reports.
“[Rihanna] has the potential to be the greatest artist of all time and, in that sense, I feel like that’s my baby sis and I would do any and everything to help her in any situation,” said West.
The Love Lockdown rapper, who has known Rihanna for several years, also said what allegedly happened to the singer shouldn’t happen to anyone.
“It should never come to that place,” he told Seacrest.
Rapper T.I. opened up on Monday night’s Last Call with Carson Daly talk show, speaking on Brown’s behalf.
“I spoke to him today,” he said. “He’s cool, you know. He’s a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris. I told him, ‘This too shall pass,’” the rapper said.
T.I. who is also in some legal trouble, scheduled to serve jail time in March said, “we’re celebrities, we’re entertainers, but we’re still human—all of us. Don’t expect us not to make mistakes, because we will.”
