In stunt queen news of the day, The New York Post reports that an attorney representing Trey Songz sent a cease and desist letter to Dave “The Mogul” Hester of A&E reality show ‘Storage Wars’ demanding that Hester stop yelling Trigga’s “signature sound” during the show’s auctions of seized goods. He also wants Hester to stop printing “YUUUP!” on merchandise.

According to Hester’s Manhattan federal court filing, Songz claims to have used “YUUUP! as his “signature sound” since at least 2009.

Hester, however, argues that Songz’ version “resembles an animal-like or non-human squeal which begins with a distinct ‘yeeee’ sound before finishing with a squeal-like ‘uuuup’ sound.” [LOLz -- Fresh]

That’s “distinct and different from Hester’s more monosyllabic sounding guttural auction bidding phrase…which is meant to convey the meaning of ‘yes,’ ” court papers say.

Hester’s suit seeks unspecified damages and a court order barring Songz from “interfering” with his use of “YUUUP!” which Hester trademarked in September.

Songz’ management firm didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Oh Kimberly, what is going on with you? For those that don’t know, Lil’ Kim released a mixtape about 24 hours ago titled Black Friday. The mixtape was put together in an effort to bury Nicki Minaj and hopefully a comeback, but things didn’t really go as planned. Kimberly and her team posted the mixtape and created a sales account via PayPal, an e-commerce site owned by eBay, to generate revenue off of the mixtape. How much is the mixtape being sold for? $9.99. Exactly what we said. Earlier today, she posted via her Twitter account that she sold 113K mixtapes and became the No.1 seller in PayPal history… right. Street Anthem picked up the phone and decided to double check this information through PayPal. Our findings… were very different than what Kim said.

What makes this YouTube vid so . . . unique is that she goes in on Mr. Uncooked Chicken himself, Trey Songz. She gives quips such as “How you going fuck with platinum when you just went gold” and my personal favorite, “You got a condo on Peachtree and now you thinking that you on.”

As for the her being the girlfriend of R. Kelly, I think K. Michelle need more people. He don’t date above the age of 14.
