YouTube Clip of the Day

Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie lets her raw emotion come to th surface while dancing with a male friend in today’s clip. Somebody put this woman on Dancing With The Stars next season please! If Kim Kardashian can stink up the joint imagine what Frankie would bring to the table.

Holla!

Frankie + Nem

Just over 1.9 million viewers tuned in to watch the season premiere and its second episode of Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is on Tuesday, making Frankie far more relevant D. Woods and Yung Joc. I hope she utizilies this show as a launching pad for her career. I would love to watch her break down pop culture on The Best Week Ever or host the 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards [surely will do a better job than T-Pain].

The sky’s the limit for Frankie and her collection of shiny, snythetic wigs. Now Neffie and that dusty ponytail on the other hand . . .

One more additional flick of the queen under the hood.

Must See TV

There is only one person who can recap last night’s season premiere episode of Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is and he goes by the name of Rich Juzwiak. For me to offer up my own would be a waste of time and totally unfair to Frankie’s legacy.

I am keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed [Bob Whitfield style] that he blesses the masses with a post dedicated to Frankie’s wig. I haven’t been this entertained since Being Bobby Brown, and that shit should speak volumes.

BET, thank you for finally getting it right. When it comes to showing former crack addicts in a negative light [need I bring up Whitney Houston's appearance on the BET Awards back in 2001 ] no one does it quite like you!

A Man Down, Code 10 Affair

Keyshia Get Em Frankie Monica

KeyLoLo celebrated her birthday [yes, again] with family and friends at Club Pure in Atlanta over the weekend. Keyshia looked cute but as always Frankie stole the show! EBT should have asked Frankie F. Baby to host the How You Gonna Rip It Like This Son awards instead of Testicular Pain. Or at very least give the woman her own 30 minute wrap-up post show. Let me stop giving away all my brilliant ideas. Check out Sandra Rose for additional pictures from the party.

Quick Flicks: Keyshia + Frankie

Keyshia + Frankie

Frankie applied her Foxy Brown approved magenta Wet N’ Wild lipstick [or lipchap if ya feeling feisty] and hit the town with daughter Keyshia Cole to celebrate her birthday. Check out more flicks of Keylolo’s cups running over at Sandra Rose.

Angela + Vanessa To Star In Run’s House Spin-off

simms

If you were waiting for JoJo and the rest of Team Blackout to land their own reality show documenting their journey in the music biz as acne prone window lickers don’t hold your breath.

BV Newswire reports that Yung Wyndex’s big sisters Vanessa and Angela are set to star in their own reality show tentatively titled Daddy’s Girls where cameras will follow their new lives in Los Angeles.

Run’s House fans can expect a deeper look into the sisters lives both personally and professionally. I hope Angela’s boy troubles with Bow Wow and TK aren’t put on center stage in an attempt to garner ratings, because I think I speak for the general consensus when I say no one gives a shit.

I’m Just Saying . . .

Sianni. Charli + India

Why does Charli Baltimore and her oldest daughter look like they could be drinking partners? But to their credit I’ve seen a lot worse cases in my lifetime.

Your Two Cents Required: Usher Hires Momanger Again

My eyes are still on fire from the last post but here I stand.

R&B star Usher and his mother are working together once again.

“Usher has dissolved his management arrangement with Benny Medina and has re-engaged Jonnetta Patton as his manager,” the mother and son said in a statement Wednesday.

According to a source, “He wanted her to come back on board and she decided to. He had really poor management and wanted her back.” The source cited lackluster album sales as one of the reasons Usher decided to reconsider his management.

In his own statement, Medina told PEOPLE Wednesday, “With an artist like Usher, the bar is set really high. Whether it was management, marketing or the music, we achieved a number one single and a number one album. It is a completely new day and time in music now. In four years, his audience, demographic, and musical direction has changed. Records like Lil Wayne’s ‘Lollipop’ are the type of phenomena that ‘Yeah’ was in 2004.”
