taraji Quick Quotes: Taraji P. Henson On Hollywood Labeling Films As Black Movies

Lovely in a floral print dress, Taraji P. Henson returned to ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ on Monday (April 16) to promote her new movie ‘Think Like A Man’ due in theaters on Friday.

Speaking with Collider the ‘Person of Interest’ actress recently voiced her opinion on the industry labeling films with predominately African American stars as “Black movies.”

“I really wish Hollywood would stop labeling movies, especially movies with predominantly black casts. Then, it makes others feel like, ‘Oh, well, that’s not for me.’ At the end of the day, everybody understands love, loss, pain and heartbreak. That’s not a color.”

Iggy Azalea Visits ‘Hip Hop POV’

iggy1 Iggy Azalea Visits Hip Hop POV

Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea chopped it up with the ‘Hip Hop POV’ crew on Monday (April 16) for the second episode of the weekly late-night music talk and performance show.

The debate on whether the hype that surrounds Azalea actually lives up to her talent grew a new set of legs recently when Eve admitted during an interview with The Women of Hip-Hop that while she supports Harlem newcomer Azealia Banks she isn’t waving a stan flag for the leggy blonde.

“I like Azealia Banks — I think her style is dope,” said Eve.

“If you listen to her lyrics, she knows how to wordplay and I think that’s cute. I’m not really into the Iggy Azalea chick. I can’t really fuck with her music, but her look is crazy. I just can’t believe it.”

In the days following Eve’s comments, XXLmag.com caught up with Azalea during the Freshmen Live Tour stop in New York City to get her response.

“I like Eve. Everybody is different, everybody hasn’t lived out of the box and for you to even know if it’s real, you have to kind of be an out-the-box person or somebody who likes something they’re not suppose to [like]. A girl like her that raps is expected, so, how could you understand something so different?”

Model Vanity Wonder’s jaw dropping 32-23-45 measurements would make some men and aggressive studs switch religions just to crash land face first on her much-blogged about donk. On some level that’s got to be flattering.

The Goat Whisperer told an Aussie radio station that she felt like she would break Blue Ivy Carter the first time she held She Who Shall Not Be Named and King Carter’s now 3-month-old daughter. Grandma Tina is hardly amused.

“I went to visit her once and honestly, it’s very surreal. It’s almost like you don’t want to touch her. I held her and I just felt like ‘Oh my God, she’s gonna break.’ She’s so tiny and cute and precious.”

Rihanna also hopes the couple will teach BIC about responsibility by making her sweep up yaki and shit.

“Chores are important for a young lady. They teach you a lot about life but [Blue Ivy Carter] will probably never have to do a dish in her life.”
