Amber Portwood, the fiery and sometimes violent star of ‘Teen Mom,’ broke down during a reunion episode Tuesday night after Dr. Drew Pinsky confronted her about the abuse she inflicted — on camera — on her former fiance, Gary Shirley. Now, there are reports that she is being investigated for domestic violence by police in Anderson, Ind., and the state Department of Child Services, and could face felony charges for punching Shirley in front of their daughter, Leah.
In Indiana and other states, domestic violence in front of a child under the age of 14 can result in felony charges, Caryn Burton, training director at the Coalition Against Domestic Violence, told HollywoodLife.com.
There has also been some talk about whether the MTV camera crew’s decision to not intervene in the attacks could merit misdemeanor charges, as it is similarly against Indiana state law to not report witnessed domestic or child abuse.

Last week, an adult-film performer tested positive for HIV at a clinic based in the San Fernando Valley, the nation’s largest pornography hub. The news set off a frenzy of media reports and renewed attention on one of California’s biggest industries.
The Los Angeles Times, which broke the story, reported that the clinic is in the process of quarantining and testing the partners of the performer.
The Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation said it would report the details of the case to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. California law requires that health care providers report communicable disease incidents to public health departments within seven days.
Founder Sharon Mitchell claims she opened the clinic in 1998 after discovering that a male porn star had recklessly infected six actresses with HIV. Since then, performers have been required to get monthly HIV and some STD tests. The clinic keeps a database for producers listing what performers are clean.
Nine months after his skeeting around town finally caught up with him, Tiger Woods and his wife officially divorced today. A joint statement from the two, released by their lawyers, said the judgment dissolving the marriage was entered at the Bay County Circuit Court in Florida.

In an interview with ‘Time Out London,’ M.I.A. described an experience at this year’s Metropolitan Ball in New York where she says she was slighted by Winfrey.
“Oprah seemed like she was giving me the cold shoulder. She was with [supermodel] Iman [Bowie]. Iman was always dancing with me, hugging and kissing me, but Oprah seemed really pissed off with me,” said M.I.A.
In addition to receiving the cold shoulder from Oprah, M.I.A also spoke about how she disliked the praises she gave to Lady Gaga (another person she’s expressed disdain for in the past) while at the Met Ball.
“Also, [Winfrey] made this huge speech at the ball praising Lady Gag about how she is helping Americans to be the best of themselves. There’s millions of other Americans who represent that for me. Is [it] about numbers? About how much you’re selling? Is it truly about the journey? Because [Lady Gaga's] journey isn’t that difficult: to go from the f—— Upper East Side to a f—— performing arts school and onto a stage at the museum of f——- wherever. We’re told Lawrence will not deny he was in the same room as the 16-year-old prostitute, but his lawyer will argue Lawrence did not have sexual intercourse — an element of third degree rape.
As one source put it, Lawrence engaged in a “masturbatory act” and that was it.
According to New York law, “A person is guilty of rape in the third degree when … he or she engages in sexual intercourse with another person less than seventeen years old.”
Interestingly … in the criminal complaint against the alleged pimp, authorities allege Taylor engaged in “sex acts” but there is not mention of sexual intercourse — a requirement for 3rd degree rape.
