New York Daily News — The producers of “Basketball Wives” are reportedly eying a major free agent.

Now in the midst of divorcing Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, Vanessa Bryant is being considered for a spot on the VH1 show, TMZ.com reported.

“Vanessa has more than enough story line and would bring the show to another level,” a source close to the reality show told the gossip site.

If you happen to be an acquaintance of Kobe Bryant’s ex-wife Vanessa your time has arrived to cash in on your chips. Break out the Waterford crystal and Kathy Ireland decorative plates. The days of paying $15 a month towards that tired layaway at Marshall’s are almost behind you. Don’t think of it as using a friend for personal gain but as a means to an end.

Sources tell TMZ that Nessa will receive $75 million, as well all three of the couple’s properties in Newport Beach, California. She will get the mansion the couple lived in, as well as the new home they had been building for the past two years. She was also reportedly granted a third property, where her mother has been living.

The two had been together since meeting in 1999 on a video music set when Vanessa was just 17-years-old and Kobe was 21. They wed in 2001.

Deion Sanders downplayed any hostilities in the divorce proceedings from his wife Pilar in a radio interview earlier this month, referring to her as a “friend” before going on to reveal that they still reside under the same roof.

Well, it ain’t all good.

TMZ.com has obtained court documents filed by Pilar slamming her husband of more than a decade as a narcissistic bully who is guilty of engaging in numerous acts of adultery. She is also requesting sole custody of the couple’s three mutual children, and to have their prenuptial agreement tossed out.

Pilar writes that Primetime “has been guilty of unkind, uncaring, insensitive, cruel and usual treatment of (Pilar) … as well as physical, mental and emotional abuse of (Pilar) and the parties’ children.”

Heavy, heavy.

Pilar says the divorce should be granted on grounds of “mental, emotional and physical abandonment.”

Pilar adds, “[Deion] committed numerous acts of adultery … on numerous occasions throughout the marriage.” Just to be clear, she adds, “[Deion] voluntarily had sexual intercourse with others who were not his spouse.”

It gets nastier … she adds, “[Deion] is a bully” … who “suffers from a narcissistic personality disorder, needs a full psychological evaluation.” (source)

A provision in the prenup between Deion Sanders and his wife, Pilar, mandates that he buy her a house upon divorce equal to half the value of whatever their current resident is, TMZ reports. Since the Prosper, Texas mansion The Sanders currently live in reportedly has a listing price of $21 million, Pilar is looking at a home in the $10-12 million range.

Word on the curb is that Pilar has been shopping for her new spot since Thanksgiving, eyeing homes in the neighborhood of $9-12 million.

Our sources says Kobe’s teammates were blabbing to their women about the superstar’s exploits and those women in turn gave Vanessa the heads up. We’re told talk of Kobe’s exploits lately increased in frequency.

TMZ – According to our sources, the players often swear their wives to secrecy before dishing on their fellow ballers but that secrecy is rarely kept. We’re told the women all share information about other guys around the league in part to ensure word will get back to them if their man ever steps out.

As TMZ first reported, Vanessa filed divorce papers on Friday, after Vanessa learned of what she says is an act of infidelity that became the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back.

In a brand new interview Steve Harvey’s ex-wife Mary Harvey is accusing the “Family Feud” host of having her arrested and thrown in jail over the Halloween weekend.

And all of it just makes my head hurt.

It’s been a contentious battle between Mary and Steve Harvey, who have been battling over custody of their son, Wynton, who lives with Steve.

According to Mary, the two have been battling since 2005.

“Here is almost 2012, and this motherf**ker still won’t get off my ass,” she declared. “He should have squared all of this with me in 2005.

“He’s got a movie coming out, he’s got this talk show he’s trying to do, so he’s just trying to squash me,” Mary said.

Mary talked to Shanae Hall, revealing that she was on her way to the drugstore with Steve, one of her sons from her previous marriage, when four policemen approached her.

“They took me to jail. I was there all day long,” said Mary. “Nobody knew where I was.

“Steve (ex-husband) wanted to serve me with a lawsuit when I walked out of that jail, and that’s what happened. Now, I have to show up in court on Nov. 11. He’s alleging that he is in fear that I’m going to show up at the radio station or at his house or that I’m going to show up at one of his comedy venues, you know? Now he’s going to get it to where there’s a restraining order against me,” she said.

Mary said she is not surprised that Steve had her thown in jail. “You call your lawyer and come up with 30 f**king pages of what I’ve done to you?” she blasted.

“Now that he thinks the public is not looking anymore, he can go back to doing what he’s always been doing…he’s dogging and bullying me when he thinks nobody’s looking.”

Mary said she hasn’t seen Wynton in a year.

Steve claims that I’m going to use Wynton to create a celebrity status for myself. Ain’t that some shit? Now it’s all about, ‘She’s trying to hurt Wynton.” Wynton’s been texting me, saying ‘Mom, when am I going to see you?’ He texted me the day before I went to jail. He said, ‘Mom, when am I going to see you again?”

“He won’t even let me see Wynton,” said Mary. ‘He’s like, ‘Let’s send the police after Mary.’ When are they going to send the police after his ass?”

“Now this bastard (Steve) is in court saying I need to be restrained from seeing Wynton. He’s already restraining me from seeing Wynton,” Mary claims.

Mary also claims that the judge favors Steve. “He’s got a damn speed dial on this damn judge. He calls his lawyer and comes up with 30 f**king pages of what I’ve done to you?

“He (Steve) is trying to restrict me from having a reality show, a book deal, going on radio, doing anything. He’s almost trying to have me bound and gagged under the court system. What am I supposed to do?” Pausing, she added, “What the hell is it that he wants? What the hell is he trying to sue me for? When do I get a chance to live my life?”
Mary has done several several interviews on her domestic problems regarding Steve Harvey on YouTube and apparently is not taking Harvey’s actions in stride.

“This needs to be out there. He’s a coward and a bitch, and he always has been,” said Mary. “I’m going to the drugstore and the next thing you know, my ass is in jail like I shot somebody or something. It’s just wrong that one dude who has power and privilege is trying to shut my ass completely down over some shit he did.”

Continuing, she said, “It’s trick or treat. You don’t get the treat, you get the trick. It’s like trick or treat, bitch. He won’t get off my back, plain and simple.”

According to the New York Post, the producers of Mahalia Jackson’s biopic are upset with Fantasia for concealing her pregnancy, along with members of Jackson’s family who are concerned that Fantasia’s pregnancy by a married man could tarnish Jackson’s image.

Members of legendary gospel singer Mahalia Jackson’s estate are aghast that 2004 “American Idol” winner Fantasia Barrino has become pregnant by a married man as she prepares to play the Queen of Gospel in the biographical film “Mahalia!”

Producers are also furious with Fantasia, 27, for not telling them about her unexpected pregnancy until she was four months in. “She [initially] claimed that she was putting on weight for the role,” an insider said.

Production of the movie has been pushed back because of Fantasia’s pregnancy with her married boyfriend, Antwaun Cook.

“The family thinks if Fantasia plays the role, it’s going to sully the name of Mahalia,” executive producer Adrian Taylor told us. “They think she’s got the wrong image, having a child out of wedlock.”

Barrino’s pregnancy has also caused chaos with scheduling conflicts because filming has been delayed until after her due date on Dec. 27. Director Euzhan Palcy may be forced to drop out of the project.

Producers are now scrambling to finish the movie by fall 2012. Barrino has been asked to start filming as soon as January and is in negotiations to alter her contract to allow time for breast-feeding and nurturing her child on set.

In the meantime, producers are working to find a replacement if Barrino doesn’t agree to start shooting after New Year’s. Missy Elliott has been suggested.

Because of the unexpected bump, the film’s budget has been increased from $23 million to $27 million.

Dino Gankendorff, who represents Mahalia Jackson’s estate, told us, “I’m not really aware of any objections that the heirs have to the casting of Fantasia. I understand that they were getting ready to film and that she is pregnant, and I don’t know who is she pregnant by.”

Barrino’s rep said, “This is the first time I’ve heard about this. I have no comment.” (source)

Former NFL superstar Deion Sanders served his model / actress wife Pilar Sanders with divorce papers on Friday morning. What a way to get the day jump started. Prime Time purportedly had this to say about the split: “Enough is enough. I never signed up for all this. Enough is enough. If I wanted a model or a television star I would have married one a long time ago. All I wanted was a housewife.”

Pilar later confirmed the dissolution of the marriage in a statement, saying “It’s unfortunate that my husband decided to take this course of action . . . I’m surprised and hurt . . . As I said to my children, we must take a minute breath and trust God.”

The chemistry exhibited by ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ stars Lisa Wu Hartwell and ex-husband-to-be Ed Hartwell made for pleasurable viewing moments for Big Mama’s late nights and early mornings DVR favorites during the first two seasons of the franchise, but the former Mrs. Keith Sweat confirmed over the weekend that things have cooled off for good between the attractive pair.

Seems a fan of NeNe Leakes’ Facebook page was tipped off when she saw that NeNe and Ed Hartwell were Facebook friends. The fan clicked on his page and it said he was separated. The fan wrote in to the blog ‘Straight from the A’ looking for confirmation. The blogger tweeted Lisa Wu, (@1LisaWu) who responded:

“Sadly. We r seperated but wld NEVER b over money. That is so far from the truth. Wish ppl cld respect ppl’s privacy during time like these.”
