While Roman is set to run rampant in front of millions at the Super Bowl, TMZ reports her caged ass twerk is being put on ice by BET. Not that she was in desperate need of the network’s push or anything. “Stupid Hoe” clocked 4.8 million views, setting world record for most video views within a 24 hour release.

Baller Status — Nearly two weeks ago, Nicki Minaj gave fans a first taste off her upcoming sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, in the form of the music video for her single “Stupid Hoe.”

From what we’ve seen and read, it hasn’t received the best reviews … and the bad news doesn’t end there.

According to TMZ, BET is refusing to air the new clip, banning it all together. BET has yet to release a statement explaining why the video has been banned, but sources say it is just too explicit for TV.

Maybe it’s the lyrics? Or maybe just the sexual visuals. Not only does Nicki appear in a thong, but throughout the video there are several nearly naked female figures.

Despite the BET ban, Nicki said — via Twitter — that “Stupid Hoe” is airing on MTV Jams.

She has yet to comment on the BET ban, but she may not care. When initially releasing the clip, Nicki chose to debut it online because “its important that my art is not tampered with, or compromised”.

While there may be an edit for it in the future, Nicki wanted her fans to see it the why she intended the first time around.

Last week C+D was invited out to the GOOD Music event presented by Heineken and Kanye West. I knew ahead of time that making the show wasn’t happening for me, but that it would be a shame to let the opportunity past. Because when House Mother Kanye calls, well, you better answer.  I fiddled my thumbs for 20 minutes or so before the light bulb in my brain came on. I reached out to Jas (I had been a fan of her writing for months and knew she was based in The Big Apple) and the rest is history. A special thanks to Alison from Team Epiphany for all of her hard work behind the scenes.

A Kanye West secret show, hmmm.

Let me see what I can remember from last night. First off, the rain. Turns out Mother Nature – much like hundreds of other people – were curbed on an invite to the Heineken Redstar show, cause she definitely showed her ass. After waiting in the rain for what felt like hours (ok, it was about 15 minutes) the doors to One Hanson Place opened at media and invited guests were ushered inside…Of an abandoned bank.

The shit looked cool. The brightly and mirrored stage was raised over 5 feet off the ground with the QTip in the DJ booth, placed front and center. It looked impressive. But do me a favor, the next time you go to cash your check, just try yelling a little something in there for me? That echo sounds cool, right? But imagine if it were mic’d.

Last nights show looked so dope but sounded worst than a live acoustic performance of Kim Kardashians ‘Party’.

Heineken and Team Epiphany decked the place out in green and white, serving beer, hotdogs, pretzels and offering game 5 of the NBA finals downstairs in the lounge…which came in handy as we waited for the show to begin. Finally at midnight, QTip packed it up and the man of the hour emerged. Ye kicked it off with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy cuts, “Dark Fantasy,” “Hell of a Life”, and “Power” before turning the stage over to his G.O.O.D. Music pupil, Pusha T.

Pusha strutted out on stage to “My God” and performed like the lives of his fuzzy cornrows depended on it. Now there was some questionable lipsync’ing during his brief set, which included “Grindin” and a couple other Clipse hits. But he held his own.

Then there was Cyphi Da Prince…Who before last night, I would’ve thought was a magical character from the story of Aladdin. But turns out, he’s quite the real boy and signed to G.O.O.D. Music. I don’t the names of either of his three songs, but that’s ok cause neither did most of the 500 or so folks there.

Next up was Mr. Hudson. I know what you’re thinking, who? Well remember that obnoxious bottle blonde kid from Harry Potter? Well he’s like him, only late 20’s, wearing loafers and singing a cross between Euro/Techno Pop. He also did 3 songs…Or one really long song. I can’t remember. But he did close out with “Forever Young,” which did not produce an appearance from Jigga Man himself.

Hudson tagged in Kid Cudi, whom despite wearing the worlds first pair of ripped jeggings, killed his set. He’s more hillbilly rock singer than rapper and owns every bit of it. Ye joined him towards the end and together they had fun with the mouth-hug themed “Poker Face”.

But still no appearance from Hovito.

Let’s talk about this. So all week the buzz has been high that the Kanye West secret show would produce an appearance from Jay-Z, then they would lock fists and their wonder twin powers would debut a new song off this fabled Watch The Throne . . . whomp whomp.

Hov entered the building. He was dressed as if he would take the stage. And then . . . he didn’t.

Instead Ye ran through some of his monster catalog of hits, even ascending on a random riser to perform “Flashing Lights”.

Ye’s energy is amazing. Once he took his sunglasses off, he looked the audience in the eye, one by one. His smile was real. Factual evidence that he was having a ball…or that the Prince Albert he wears was doing the trick.

. . . But still no Jay-Z though.
