The protracted divorce case of NBA star Dwyane Wade and his estranged wife, Siohvaughn Wade, is hurting their children and has gone on long enough, a judge in Chicago said Tuesday, ordering them back to court Friday to wrap up their divorce.

“I think this has impacted the children in a detrimental way,” Cook County Judge Mary Nega told attorneys for the couple and Wade, the Chicago native, former Richards High School standout and current Miami Heat star, who was in her courtroom at the Daley Center.

The divorce proceedings involving the onetime high school sweethearts have been going on since 2007 and have been highly contentious at times. Siohvaughn Wade at one point accused her husband of giving her a sexually transmitted disease she claimed he caught during an adulterous affair — a claim that spurred him to file a defamation suit against her. More recently, she accused him in court papers of being involved in a relationship with actress Gabrielle Union, which she said caused “emotional distress” for her and their two sons — ages 3 and 8.

After several delays in resolving the case, the judge agreed Tuesday with Dwyane Wade’s lawyers’ request to grant the divorce and then settle the issue of how the couple’s assets should be divided in a later proceeding. (source)

Former football star Tiki Barber is taking more hits in his retirement than he ever received on the field.

Publicly derided for leaving his then-eight-months-pregnant wife Ginny for 23-year-old former NBC intern Traci Lynn Johnson, Barber now claims that he is broke and can’t afford a divorce settlement.

According to Page Six, Barber insists his career is in the gutter since losing his $300,000 network contract with NBC.

Barber hasn’t been on the air in many months — but sources said his contract was only formally terminated in May.

Network insiders said “Today” show bosses secretly ended their deal with Barber due to a hidden “morality clause” which specified that stars must not be involved in public scandals.

Barber has four children with his estranged wife, including newborn twins. He was reportedly banned from the delivery room while Ginny was giving birth.

Barber also canceled promotional appearances for his Flywheel cycling gyms in the wake of the scandal. (source)

With a public back and forth that ended up on blogs everywhere, the conflict between Uncle Luke, and his teenage children have finally reached a tragic peak. During an interview with on the Mad Hatta Morning Show, Uncle Luke said

“I have one kid. His name is Blake Campbell and he stays with me and me and my wife raise him.”

“When you get a check, the results of that check ends up where your sperm donation kids are online talking bad about you after you spent millions and millions dollars in child support.”

It would have been much better if both parties would have kept this between themselves. Now Luke have spoken some words that he can never take back. What kind of person would refer to their children as “sperm donations”?

After almost one year of being married, actor Darius McCrary has filed for divorce from his wife, former video vixen Karrine Steffans.

The former ‘Family Matters’ star, who wed the New York Times bestselling author on April 20, 2009, filed paperwork to dissolve the marriage on Feb. 10 in Los Angeles County Court according to the National Enquirer, who published the court documents in their latest issue.

The actor reportedly sent Steffans a bouquet of flowers along with her divorce papers.

This is McCrary’s third marriage and third divorce.

“I will always love Karrine and her son, but we are not good together. It was just time for us to go our separate ways,” McCrary told NE rep Patricia Shipp.

McCrary, who now stars on ‘The Young and the Restless,’ had dated the author of tomes like ‘Confessions of a Video Vixen’ and ‘The Vixen Diaries’ on an off for almost two years after meeting her at a gifting suite for the ESPY Awards in July of 2007.

The couple broke up for a while in June of 2008 after the 31-year-old beauty accused McCrary of domestic violence.

The 33-year-old actor was then interviewed for the documentary ‘Kiss and Tail: The Hollywood Jump Off’ that was based on Steffans and spoke disparagingly about his then ex-girlfriend.

Months later the couple reconciled and quietly wed in Los Angeles less than a year later.

With news of the divorce being public, Steffans is now accusing her ex-hubby-to-be of being unfaithful during the marriage.

“He cheated on me. You can’t cover that up with a bouquet of flowers,” she told the National Enquirer. [continue reading]
