After a nearly decade-long hiatus Mase is returning to the studio to work on a new album. The former Bad Boy rapper, spotted above grabbing a bite to eat in New York City over the weekend, took to his Twitter account to reveal both the album title, ‘Now We Even’.
“No abbreviations. Use #NOWWEEVEN. That’s the only conversation I’m having,” Passah Betha tweeted. “Right now I’m listening to all my early freestyles and songs. This got to be something special. A couple free shows and visits #NOWWEEVEN.”
The Harlem native adds his ideal album would feature collaborations with artists such as Lauryn Hill, 2 Chainz, Drake, Meek Mill, Seal, Cam’ron, CeeLo Green and more. When quizzed by a fan when the follow-up to ‘Welcome Back’ would be released, he responded, “Once I finish it.”
