Chris Brown is OverIt.com when it comes to haters who always throw shade at the way he chooses to live his life, especially since they are out here doing the same thing. Sounds like half of the Facebook status messages we all read on a daily basis, but that’s another story for a different day.
In the October 14 issue of Jet magazine, Breezy points out while the public has been able to overlook Jay-Z’s past as a knife-wielding ex-dope boy they aren’t as forgiving when it comes to him.
“No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that [Jay-Z] stabbed somebody and sold drugs,” he explains. “He gets a pass.”
In case you need a refresher, back in 2001 when 3LW ruled the music world Beyonce’s purse watcher pleased guilty to stabbing record producer Lance “Un” Rivera two years prior for leaking his album a month before its release date.
CB also addressed his anger management issues, relationship with current girlfriend Karrueche Tran and how he was affected by the Trayvon Martin case.
“I identify with Trayvon 100 percent as far as living in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism,” he says. “This generation is so used to racism that it’s normal; we don’t care. We aren’t on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as niggas.”
