A man from the great state of Florida allegedly filmed himself whipping an underage female victim to the beat of Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines,” according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.
While there is no available evidence to support my claims, I received a quick lashing to the ‘Showtime At The Apollo’ opening theme circa 1994, but I digress.
Escambia County Sheriff’s Office deputies obtained a video that appears to show your creepy ass neighbor Steven Grady Fillingim beating a girl’s legs with a 30-inch metal rod for 40 minutes while playing the summer jam in the background. According to the report, he was “striking her with the switch to the beat of the music.”
This is that “blue-eyed soul” shit.
Acting in true dumb ass nature, Fillingim sent the video, which was titled “She’s Home”, to his girlfriend, who showed it to police. Take a wild guess at who will never be responsible for naming my iTunes playlists.
Cops say Fillingim, who was arrested Sunday night at his home in Pensacola, Fla., also abused the teen for during the first half of September for varied reasons ranging from skipping school to her failure to “vacuum up bugs from the carpet.”
The girl told investigators that Fillingim had struck her in the face with a belt and his hands. She also detailed other harsh punishments, including being forced to shovel dirt for 90 minutes before being allowed to go to bed at 1:30 AM.
Fillingim is currently jailed without bond on the felony child abuse charge and scheduled for a September 25 Circuit Court hearing.
Kudos to you for making it beyond “Florida” without banging your head repeatedly against the nearest wall to the beat of “Mind of a Maniac” by Lil Boosie.
But in the event that you are feeling froggy today, here you go.
