Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson is getting to the paper.
The Thompsons reportedly pulled in $50,000 per episode (shade as a family) for their hit TLC reality show ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ last year according to Parade’s annual “What People Earn” issue, which reveals the incomes of some of Hollywood’s highest paid celebrities.
The amount may seem like a paltry sum in comparison to noted A-listers like Brad Pitt ($35 million) and Anne Hathaway ($10 million), but according to the magazine the network tripled their salary once the show struck ratings gold.
The family’s inclusion on the list of 19 stars by alone is a priceless “chile cheese” to critics like Kenya Moore. Mama June at the round table — where your seat at? Where your plate? Where your lobster? Where your seabass?
Taylor Swift’s estimated $57 million salary makes her the third highest-paid woman in entertainment, behind Oprah Winfrey and Britney Spears.
Gabby Douglas scored $10.5 million in 2012 thanks to her best-selling memoir and lucrative endorsement deals. The 17-year-old gymnast pocketed $50,000 from the U.S. Olympic Committee for winning her two golds. Adele raked in around $32 million thanks to earnings from her latest album, ’21.’
Lebron James pulled in an estimated $57.5 million last year, but $40 million of that was from endorsement deals. Justin Bieber made about $55 million last year – which breaks down to $6,261 per hour. Fuck this job.
