Charlie Brown Gets A Hip-Hop Makeover In New Art Exhibition

What happens with Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts cartoon receive a makeover with classic lines from rap songs? Deez Nuts. I so just grabbed my vagina. I was an aggressive stud that worked at the airport in my previous life.

Created by graphic artist Mark Drew, Deez Nuts is a series of large scale paintings on canvas that show Peanuts comics paired with lyrics from The Notorious B.I.G., Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Digital Underground Gang Starr, N.W.A. and more as dialogue.

The exhibition was recently featured on display at China Heights Gallery, co-founded by Drew, located in Australia. Check out more pictures below!
