Toni Braxton: ‘Extra’ Appearance With Mario Lopez

Toni Braxton waved to fans as she made her way on stage for an appearance on ‘Extra’ with Mario Lopez at The Grove in Los Angeles on Thursday (January 31).

The mother of two, who rocked a figure hugging LBD, stars in a new Lifetime original movie ‘Twist of Faith.’ In the made for television flick Toni portray Nina, a single mother and the lead singer of a small gospel choir who comes across Jacob (played by David Julian Hirsh) an Orthodox Jewish Cantor who denounces his faith and leaves his home after witnessing the senseless murder of his wife and children. Well, hallelu.

Mykelti Williamson, best known for his roles as Benjamin Buford Blue in ‘Forrest Gump’ and Uncle George in ‘ATL’ (for the kids born after 1990), also appears in the film. ‘Twist of Faith’ premieres on Lifetime February 9 at 8/7c.
