The only element missing from the wake for the late Hector “Macho” Camacho in Puerto Rico last week was executive producer credit for Mona Scott Young.
Alleged mistress Cynthia Castillo lifted the casket veil covering the murdered professional boxer’s face and kissed him on the lips at the viewing (click here for picture), then walked to the private area reserved for family. But when she did, the plate of food she was carrying was smacked to the ground by Gloria Fernandez, who claimed to have been the boxer’s girlfriend for 25 years. That’s when shit got real.Mourners and camera-wielding journalists looked on as the women punched and clawed at each other in a fight that spilled into the hallways. Camacho’s sisters, Esther and Estrella, were also involved.

Fernandez and Camacho’s sisters eventually returned to the service while Castillo was escorted out but not before sharing her own account of events.

“I went to get something to eat because Machito [Hector Camacho Jr.]told me to, and his ex-girlfriend [Fernandez] came up to me and told me that I had to leave,” Castillo told reporters, showing a fresh scratch across her clavicle. “I said no, so they threw my plate of food and attacked me, and I defended myself.”
“I am the actual girlfriend of Macho, and those who don’t like it better not bring it,” said Castillo. “They shouldn’t be going after me. They should be thanking me for being with him at all times.”
Camacho was shot on November 20 while sitting in a parked car with a friend outside a bar in his hometown of Bayamon. The friend died at the scene and the boxer three days later after doctors removed him from life support.
