Eddie Murphy Flaunts New Blonde Boo At Spike TV’s Special

All hail Donkey! While Rocsi Diaz spent the better part of the evening updating her LinkedIn profile, Eddie Murphy was honored by a bevy of his Hollywood pals at a taping of Spike TV’s Eddie Murphy: One Night Only special Saturday (November 3) at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills.

Arsenio Hall, Jamie Foxx, Tyler Perry, Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan and Keenan Ivory Wayans were also among those paying tribute to Murphy. Noticeably absent from the event was Johnny Gill. That’s precisely like the First Lady being missing from the Pastor Appreciation’s program.

The comedian joked with the star studded audience about the event being a retirement party.

“That’s when you get these sort of things — when you’re retired,” he told the crowd. “You come out, retired old guy comes out — I remember the old movies and the old days and the old times. That’s what this is!”

Morgan called Murphy “my comic hero” and came onstage wearing a replica of Murphy’s signature outfit for snatching trade — the red leather suit from his 80′s stand-up special ‘Delirious.’

The two-hour special is set to air on November 14.
