Gloria Govan can finally be called an official basketball wife. While in Las Vegas celebrating her sister (and ‘Basketball Wives LA’ co-star) Laura Govan‘s birthday, Gloria and on-again-off-again boyfriend/fiance and LA Clippers player Matt Debarge secretly tied the knot. According to The Las Vegas Journal Review, the two exchange their “I Do’s” at the historic wedding chapel and landmark Little Church of The West.

So why so hush hush? In a recent interview with Joy Online, Gloria had this to say regarding marriage:
“Marriage isn’t necessarily a huge priority for me. Matt and I are working on our relationship in terms of being parents first and foremost, being friends secondly and like I said, we had so much growth, we have to get to know each other. I know it’s in the future, it’s just not tomorrow. I think when it happens, everyone will be surprised because I don’t think we will make a big deal out of it.”
Previously, the couple called a wedding off and went their separate ways for a couple months, so maybe she just didn’t want to jinx it by making a big deal about it. I mean look what happened with Evelyn and Chad. Thanks to Necole Bitchie we were able to see a copy of the marriage license. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Barnes!
