Trey Songz‘s melodic goat cries may send the ladies and assorted gays swooning but they aren’t enough to bring tears to Ne-Yo‘s eyes.
During a stop at The Breakfast Club last week, Go-Go weighed in on Tremaine’s lack of vocal emotion, stating “Trey’s one of them dudes that could be a serious problem if he decided to put that emotion in there. Just the emotional disconnect is there.”
Of course, that simple observation didn’t go over too well with Tommy Davidson’s sexier twin.
“I’ma talk to Ne-Yo when I see him. It ain’t even that. The thing is that Ne-Yo knows me,” said Songz responding to the criticism during an interview with 106 KMEL. “Ain’t no need to have that conversation for the world to hear, you know. And I feel like that’s a sucker move. It’s all good though. I’m a real nigga. They gon’ take shots.”

Not one to back down Ne-Yo is still sticking with his comments. ”I don’t start shit. I don’t talk shit. I’m not that dude, period. My opinions come from a place of love and I’m entitled to them, the same way you’re entitled to disagree,” he wrote on a Tweetgram in the days following his interview.
“I mean no disrespect, however, I can’t tell a person how to feel. It’s all love, but it is what it is.”
