Disregard the fact that he should be placed in the same reading class as Fantasia and Mary J. Blige. Black America’s favorite pied piper pedo, R. Kelly, appeared at Barnes & Noble Tribeca to promote his memoir “Soulacoaster: The Diary Of Me” on Friday (August 10).

The notoriously private singer says that its time that after selling 38 million albums sold its time for fans to get to know him on an intimate level. One that doesn’t require a raincoat, galoshes, and other piss repellent attire.

“Everybody knows me musically and R. Kelly writes songs and I’ve done the award shows and everything,” he shared with MTV News last month, “[But] I felt it was time for them to know me personally, you know?”

In this exclusive book excerpt Kellz recalls meeting Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. before their untimely deaths.
