Yes, You Care: Jay-Z Is A Really Thoughtful Brother-In-Law

Last weekend, Solange celebrated her 26th birthday surrounded by family in London. Happy late ass birthday, gworl.

Reportedly at the stroke of midnight, Jay-Z surprised Basement Baby with an intimate gathering of friends, family and wig splitters after completing his  BBC Radio 1 Hackney Festival set. Stay mad about it.

According to reports, the rapper treated his sister-in-law with cake, champagne and a ‘thoughtful gift’ before leading the chorus of the “Happy Birthday” song.

No word if it was the same rendition from the Destiny’s Child debut album but we can dream.

A source tells the Daily Mirror newspaper: ”It was really sweet. Solange hadn’t even noticed that it had turned 12 am when Jay got everybody singing together. She was really touched.”

Before the festivities took place, Solange  snapped a picture with her ethereal golden yaki goddess of a sister  blessed the members of the Beyhive on Instagram with a picture with the caption “We.Are.Family.”

Shouldn’t shade your little brother Nixon Knowles like that! We haven’t forgot about Papa Knowles’ uh oh baby.

On an ending note, we wonder if T.O.N.Y. actually called to wish her a belated birthday this year. Guess we will never know.
