Opening up to rapper Rasheeda over drinks about her experience as a recording artist, K. Michelle shared her perspective on why her career never flourished to her satisfaction on the premiere episode of ‘Love & Hip Hop.’
Though she never mentioned Mickey “Memphitz” Wright by name, she did tearfully reveal that the former host for BET’s show ‘The Deal,’ who is currently married to Toya Wright, blew her $2 million recording budget on expensive toys — and was also physically abusive during their time as a couple.
Breaking his silence for the first time, Memphitz posted a drawing of Pinnocchio to Instagram with snarling caption yesterday.
“As I was installing the Teeth, Titties, & Ass you’re Flaunting, I forgot to tell you about the Growing Nose I threw in Pinocchio. Lol. @kmichelle I made you. -Mr. Gepetto,” the former Jive Records / Hitz Committee A&R quipped.
Is he going to take credit for installing Toya’s veneers if their marriage ever goes south?
K. Michelle waved off the diss in a response posted to her Twitter account: “A persons true colors will always show. Never fight a battle that God already won for u. I’m still standing.”
K. Michelle previously said that her decision to not drop Memphitz’s name was out of respect for his wife.
One episode in and there is already enough drama to fill the food court in Atlantic Station, the exact location I’m sure Mona Scott-Young recruited Joseline Hernandez. Check out a preview of the next episode below.
