Word on the curb is that three cast members of ‘Basketball Wives’ have been benched for season five.
Jennifer Williams (ex-wife of retired NBA guard Eric Williams), Royce Reed (former Orlando Magic dancer and baby mama to center Dwight Howard), and newbie Kesha Nichols (ex-fiancée of San Antonio Spurs forward Richard Jefferson) have all been waived from the show’s roster for being “dead weight,” according to TMZ
The website reports: “We’re told Royce was cut because she wasn’t legally allowed to talk about Dwight due to a 2009 gag order, blocking her from discussing her ex in any way. The other girls on the show had also decided to ostracize her, so Royce couldn’t shoot scenes with the rest of the cast.”
As for the other two gworls, Jennifer is too much of both a liability and headache after suing Nia Crooks for slapping her on the show and Kesha is just too damn boring. Way to remove the “negative” element from the show, Shaunie.
