Werk Kizzy! Current VEGAS magazine cover girl Kelly Rowland sizzled in Sin City on Saturday (June 9), hosting its 9th anniversary celebration at The Boulevard Pool inside the uber luxurious The Cosmopolitan casino resort and hotel.
The 31-year-old singer took a break from sacrificing old lace fronts at the altar constructed inside Blue Ivy’s nursery (Nixon Knowles will be erased from all of our memories soon enough) to praise her sisters with voices in her cover story.
“Destiny’s Child was a huge part of my career, and I think it’s only natural for people to refer to Destiny’s Child when referring to any of us. For people to call us one of the greatest female groups of all time—are you kidding me? Beyoncé and Michelle are two incredible women and deeper than what the public sees,” she tells the magazine.
“Destiny’s Child, to me, was a sisterhood and a kinship that the three of us shared. You want people to respect that you have your own identity as an artist, but they also remember how they met you.”
